To all UK bees,
Have you tried the powder version of this formula, and if so where did you buy it? I can only seem to see the pre-mixed milk version when I look online.
I’m planning on breatfeeding, but thought I’d stock up on some emergency formula in case I have a problem with breastfeeding for any reason.

Any reason you want to use HIPP in particular?
The 3 main formulars you can buy in the UK are SMA, Cow and Gate and Aptamil. A lot of people recommend Aptamil if you’re planning on breast feeding as well as it is supposed to be the most similar. I personally didn’t really find it made much difference and it is more expensive than the other brands.
I soley breast fed til 8 months and then introduced formular feeds and joint fed until 11 months. My LO took to both really well luckily.
If you are hoping to Boyfriend or Best Friend in the first instance then maybe try a few of the pre-made cartons as they don’t recommend keeping powder formular open for more than 6 weeks so if Boyfriend or Best Friend works for you it would be a shame to throw away unused formular.
Sorry i can’t help with the Hipp but the other 3 makes are pretty good.

@CazS: Hi, thanks, good idea about the pre-made cartons. The reason for my wanting to use HiPP was that it is organic, and I plan to try and use as many organic foods as poss.
