I thought that was going to happen this morning! I've perked up a little but, I am s-l-o-w moving & oh so tired today. UGH. Maybe it's something in the air!
I totally took a nap in the car at lunch! I was having a very hard time waking u pthis morning and a quick nap really felt good.
ETA: just realized this was posted under babies - I am not pregnant just super tired today!
You don't have to be pregnant to be tired at work. Now, can I go take a nap in my car?
@TheFutureMcBride: You could make a napping station under your desk, like George from Seinfeld!
@TheFutureMcBride: All I have to say is thank goodess I have a 45 minute train ride sometimes...b/c I would seriously fall asleep at my desk at work if I didn't...and I'm not pregnant!
@.twist.: I seriously considered that almost weekly in my old office. It had the perfect desk for it.
Now I'm in an office with two other people who will notice if I duck out of sight for a nap. Boo.
omg my eyes are killing they are so sleepy!! i am having such a hard time keeping them open! 1 hr and 40 min left of work then i can go and relax on my comfy couch.. or bed :)
oh after work we are going to get our marriage license then after my bed will be calling my name!
@linguo42: I currently have a perfect desk for it as well, and think of it often... I just am unsure how I'd smuggle a pillow and blanket it! LOL.
@.twist.: That's a great idea, but people would wonder where I am. My coworkers are very intrusive.
@2PeasinaPod: And that's why I want to take the bus to work. I'd have to get up earlier and walk uphill to work, but I could sleep 45 minutes both ways.
My sister was bad mouthing a pregnant coworker who sleeps on the job. She's never been pregnant, I told her just to wait until she gets pregnant and has to stay awake all day long!
Luckily I'm not working now so if I need to I can nap during the day. And I do that often.
Addie slept through the night last night for the first time in months; it was pure heaven. And, I've been know to lay down in the file room on really bad days, lol.
omg... I had no idea that the exhaustion came back full force in your third trimester. I am EXHAUSTED ! I think i slept with my eyes open at work yesterday lol
I think pregnancy gets your prepared for those restless nights up with baby :)
My body is tired. I teach Pre-K, so the kids are constantly active. I sit my buttocks down and direct them from a chair.LMAO I get backaches now too. :(
@MsMamaBear: I've been wondering how teachers survive pregnancy and teaching. It seems so hard.
@TheFutureMcBride: I agree that I don't know how teachers survive. I'm mentally and physically drained when I play with just a few kids, not to mention the pregnancy draining and actually teaching. Another reason why I'm not a teacher, I guess :)
@beekiss: I've been wondering because I really want to teach, but think it'd be hard with morning sickness, exhaustion, general pregnancy hormones, and all the bathroom trips. Also, my mom was a waitress with my brother and sister. How is that even possible? I can barely walk.
@TheFutureMcBride: Yeah, I have a nice cozy office job. I seriously have great amount of respect for ladies who are on their feet (retail or waitressing) and ladies who have jobs that require alot of physical energy like teaching especially during pregnancy. I have a feel if I can actually get pregnant, I'll be a zombie for 9 months.
oh no! It gets hard!! Your body is just so tired. That was my first hint I was pregnant I was so tired more than usual and didnt know why. I figured its bc I had started a new job that was 12-16 hours a day on my feet etc.. But that never slowed me down before I was notorius sp* for taking a nap on my breaks.. Ya gotta do what you gotta do to make it through the day lol
Lol you ladies are crackin me up!
@Futuremcbride-When are you due? I have 5 weeks left and the tiredness hasnt hit me yet. Maybe Ill get lucky and it wont!
@Blondiebee: I'm 27 weeks and have 12 more to go. Maybe you're just lucky and you won't get it.
@organizedbride11: I took naps in my car when I was pregnant with Moose. It was so nice, but now, I have no where really good to park my car to take a nap.
@TheFutureMcBride: It is. I wish I was in an office and I could be alone all day and rest!LOL Since my students are small (pre-kindergarten) there are 2 teachers, so I can dip out for the restroom a lot. 1st trimester was hard because I was just tired and grossed out by smells(and pre-k kids have smells, lol). I'll just be glad for the last day of school. Those 2 months I'm doing nothing! LOL

Who else is having a hard time making it through the day? I can't even imagine how much harder it's going to get as I get closer to my due date.
