If you can’t find anything then go to a running/sports store and get body glide, it looks like a deodorant stick but you put it between your legs to help with chafing. Runners use it for the same reason and I bought some to use a few years ago when I went to the beach and swear by it. I used to never wear shorts/skirts during the summer but after using this stuff I don’t even worry about it.

@chouette:  +1 on bodyglide. I wear it in the summer when I get all hot and bothered and it’s amazing.

@AndHusbandMakes3:  If you can’t find Bodyglide, Monistat makes an anti-chafing gel that is much easier to find in stores! It’s with the “female care” products in most drugstores.

I’m going to second PPs on the Monistat chafing gel. It comes out of the tube as a gel, then takes on the texture of powder once it’s on. It isn’t greasy at all and absorbs instantly. It doesn’t stain clothes or leave anything visible on the skin. In the summer I wear it ALL the time with skirts and dresses. On really hot, sweaty days I sometimes I have to reapply after a few hours, but it’s a quick trip to the bathroom and I’m good to go again. I can’t reccomend the product enough. For reals. It made wearing skirts (without pantyhose or shorts) happy again.

@AndHusbandMakes3:  I have the best answer ever for you!!!!! I found Thigh Society last summer and ordered 4 pairs, my mom and sister also ordered 2 pairs each. They’re not restrictive and spandexy like Spanx, they’re cotton or bamboo material so they’re soft and breathable. They don’t provide tons of tummy sucking, but def smooth things over and keep your inner thighs cool and totally dry. The business is run by a few sisters in Canada, and they run out of stock sometimes. You may be able to have them rush shipped to you…literally one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. EVER. Google them or FB them!

Monistat’s anti-chafing gel is the best. Does the trick for inner thighs — I was totally comfortable on my wedding day. I now keep a tube in my purse for “surprise” chafing, including shoes that start to rub uncomfortably. It really is magical.

In a pinch, I used a regular deodorant stick recently. Worked perfectly.
