I have posted about my quest for a moissanite eternity wedding ring before, and today I finally received my ring!
I ended up getting a 3.5mm 4 prong, square brilliant cut eternity ring in size 5.25.
I had so many questions myself when going through the process and decided to do an unboxing show for you all so you can see how it comes and what my ring looks like!
First off, I spoke with Chris from Moissaniteco.com for a few weeks to get my dream ring sorted, and then he sent me the link (which is now not available as it was specially made) to purchase!
13/08/2013 – Purchased and payment received
14/08/2013 – In production
22/08/2013 – Ready to ship
22/08/2013 – Shipped
The ring was shipped from Las Vegas, Nevada on Thursday (22/08) to Tasmania (27/08)
Now for the pictures!
The box and an envelope
The envelope contained my receipt and this Certification card
Inside the box
Inside the bag
The ring box box and the ring box (ha!)
So there is my ring 🙂
Overall, I would highly recommend moissaniteco.com. Their service and response was brilliant, the shipping was fast and the end result is gorgeous!
These photos are taken in my office under yellow boxed LED lighting, so as you all could guess, the colouring might be off but I am so excited to take it out and see the changes!
Thanks for reading 😉

@Kriddlelouise: i love it!!! it’s beautiful. they did a lovely job. so glad you are thrilled with it. is this going to be your ering or is it your wband? if wband, what does your ering look like with it?

@mypinkshoes: Thank you 🙂 It is going to be a stand alone wedding band most of the time, as I have always loved the look of an eternity ring on its own. I have a princess cut solitaire diamond, and the stone is slightly larger than the stones width on the eternity ring so worn together it does overpower my e-ring just a bit. But as I said, I have every intention of wearing it by itself 🙂

@Kriddlelouise: i have a large eternity band too that i love and i wear mine with a plain band all of the time instead of with my ering. try it, i think you might like it. sample it with your ering turned around so there’s a plain band and then put on your eternity band. let me know what you think.

Thank you everyone!
@mypinkshoes: I just did it and took a photo! (And a few more photos… haha)
@LovesBeingAMrs: I contacted moissaniteco.com because I specifically wanted a 4 prong design in square brilliant, which they do not currently cater to but had absolutely no problems arranging for me 🙂
@MissMarple: Thank you!
@MyrtletheTurtle: Thank you!

@Kriddlelouise: I am on my way to HYPERVENTILATING RIGHT NOW! I adore your ring so much! I’m dying for a chunky eternity band, but so few people have moissy bands. This is absolutely stunning. Do you know the total carat weight? Is it comfortable to wear?

@Kriddlelouise: beautiful. Questions for you- you said your ering is diamond, correct? How do you like the moissanite next to the diamond? I have never been able to see any moissanite in person I don’t think….but totally considered it for my wedding band. I was soto pull pull the trigger though without seeing them side by side person!

@megan331979: Thank you!
@letigre: Thanks! I am in love with it, and keep dragging it out of the box to admire I am unsure of the total carat weighting for this ring as it was just a one off, but this is a 3.5mm with 19 stones, and according to moissaniteco.com a round eternity in 3.5mm with 19 stones is a 5.3 carat equivalent!
I did order a CZ equivalent size to see if I liked how large it was, and comapred to the CZ this ring is sooooo much more comfortable! No poking, no rubbing, nothing. I will say that the ring on is fine and is my correct size and spins but it is slightly harder to get off than my e-ring, which i find interesting.
@MrsEME: Yes, my e-ring is currently a diamond. To be honest, I cant see that much of a difference given that the stones are smaller, but each stone is amazing in colour and quality so the colours look fine together. The picture looking down on the rings is the best representation of the colourings.
