My fiance and I are hoping to have an afternoon victorian tea/garden party and really love the ambiance of a park or nature, but worry about inclement weather. We want a space that could have inside seating as well. Tent rentals are 5000?! That’s insane. Also, we have looked at historical venues with outside space. We want older guests to be able to be inside as they see fit, and outside space to still accomodate for croquet and nature. I am in talks with a tea room currently that has a wooded area around, which I just happened upon and asked and they said they would consider it (they just opened) It seems anytime you mention “Wedding” and things go crazy out of hand in rental terms but I know there are many other type of places that could fit my bill of a nice space to eat/drink/play in the afternoon that don’t pop up in wedding searches if you know what I mean.
I am in Middletown, OH so anything Cinci/Dayton would be good…but mostly any ideas for how to search up locations in general would be helpful.
