I’m considering adding a diamond band to my set when we have our first child in a few months. I posted a thread asking to see some examples (thanks to everyone who responded) but I thought I’d try a poll. I really like my set the way it is so I’m undedicded whether I want anything at all but I know it’s traditional to add an eternity band so I’m trying to imagine it. What do you think? Add an eternity band or leave the set the way it is?
I’ve added a picture of my set and the kind of bands I’m considering. If you vote ‘yes’, can you suggest which band you think would most suit my set?
And, of course, if you want to share your own sets, feel free…I’d love to see them.

I really like option 3. Your rings are beautiful

I love your set the way it is and wouldn’t change a thing. It’s beautiful, has just the right amount of sparkle, and is just the right size for your finger – adding a third band may overshadow your original set and make the whole set seem too thick for your finger. I really, really love your e-ring! And I think adding a third band will take away from the beauty of the e-ring.

I like option 1. It seems to match your e-ring.

@Miss Wallaby: thanks – that’s kind of what I’ve been thinking. Part of the problem is I can’t really try any of these rings on as they’re not available in the jewellery stores near me. We’d probably get a band custom made (to one of these designs) by the same guy who did the wedding set so I need to be sure. I’m not very good at visualising! The other option is a pair of co-ordinating earrings so I’m definitely tempted by that!
@Glitter-girl – thanks. I think no. 3 makes sense as it sort of matches the side details of my e-ring. You gotta love those sapphires though!

Option 3 is looking popular, eh everyone? Anyone want to share their own pics?

I really love option 2 or 3!
go for it!
you could totally mix and match too– such as wearing just the plain band + diamond band w/o e-ring sometimes. that would look so good. (I know a few new moms who have put away their e-rings for a little while, or at least until the babies get older.) or maybe wearing one ring on your right hand.
