My entrance was to "What A Wonderful World" by Neil Armstrong.
We signed the register to "All Dressed Up In Love" by Jennifer Hudsen.
Our processional was to "L-O-V-E" by Nat King Cole.

We didn't do a first dance, or a grand entrance. So that was fine for us! :)

My BM"s walked into "somewhere over the rainbow". I LOVE Judy Garland and was obsessed with the Wizard of Oz when I was a kid, and I'm pretty sure everyone in my family will know why I chose that song. I walked into Landslide by Fleewtood Mac-i also have an unhealthy obsession with Stevie Nicks and most of her songs are break up songs so that one fit the best-even though I'm kind of over it as far as her song log goes.

Oh-I'm not under 30. Do my answers count? LOL.

We are keeping the ceremony pretty traditional. I am 24 and FI is 27, but we both think that traditional music during the ceremony is important. Our parents, grandparents, and groomsmen will walk to Air on a G String (Bach.) My bridesmaids and I will walk to Canon in D. My future father in a law has a great voice and will sing "The prayer" while we do the unity candle or sand cermony... still haven't decided. Recessional will be Somewhere under the rain bow.

Reception music is more "us." First dance will be to Coldplays "green eyes." Cake cutting "You and Me" by DMB. Last song Michael Buble "Everything." Still working on father daughter and mother son dance music.

We're still deciding on most of our music. We do know this:

Recessional: Kiss Me (cover by New Found Glory)

Last Song: Shout! (FI wouldn't have it any other way)

Unity Candle Ceremony: When I Say I Do by Matthew West (MOB's request)

I would love to get in a piano cover of Until the Day I Die by StoryoftheYear somewhere in the ceremony, but we'll see what the church says.

PS-SO Jealous of the Journey users out there!

I'm too old for this thread, but I'm young at heart.

I think the wedding party will walk down to Real Love performed by Regina Specktor and I want to walk downto either Nick Drake NorthernSky or Ben Kweller's cover of God Only Knows.  I think our Recessional will be something super happy...either Flowers in the Window by Travis or Such Great Heights by Postal Service.

Music is a HUGE part of our lives and our wedding.  I had so much fun picking out our music, but didn't have enough "events" to showcase all of the important songs I wanted to use.  Here's what I have so far.

Moms and Bridesmaid: With a little help from my friends - Joe Cocker

Bridal processional: When you say you love me - Josh Groban

Recessional: You & Me DMB or You're my Best Friend - Queen

First Dance: Wonderful Tonight - Eric Clapton

Cake Cutting: Sugar Sugar - The Archies

    Final Dance: ???

I've been toying with the idea of our first dance be to the Metallica song Nothing Else Matters, but the Apocalyptica cover. If you haven't heard it, you really need to head over to Youtube or myspace and have a listen! It's lovely. We'd have to take some classical dance classes though.

Our first dance will be to "Wouldn't It Be Nice" by The Beach Boys. Kinda fast but it'll be fun :) As for ceremony, I wanted to do piano versions of "Love Story" by Taylor Swift (kinda cheesy I know, but the fiance loves her) or "Dreams" by The Cranberries, but the church won't allow secular music, boo :P

Im 23 and we went with all the traditional songs for the ceremony. And Nat King Cole L.O.V.E for our 1st dance. There is something about those classic songs that are timeless! That's what we were going for- an elegant timeless feel that everyone from 16 to 86 would enjoy. We had the band play a variety of songs and then had the dj take over at the end of the night for some fun dance music like beyonce, kayne and more ;-)

I've always wanted our first dance to be "Magic" by Colbie Caillat!  The lyrics of the song say "all I see is your face".  When I was first starting to date, my mom told me to find the guy that, when walking into a crowded room, he is the only face I see. That is exactly how I feel about my guy!

Music is probably one of the biggest parts of our relationship (we met at marching band camp--not even kidding, and he is a music student and proposed after a concert), and we have known what our first dance was probably since before we actually knew we were getting married!  The song is an old jazz standard called "Embracable You", Mr. BrassBand used to sing it to me over the phone.

And although we haven't really discussed ceremony music yet, in my head our recessional is "You're My Best Friend" by Queen...many many nights, he drove me home with Queen's greatest hits album playing in the background.  :)

At some point in the ceremony, I can almost guarantee we'll whip out some Vitamin String Quartet.  They are just awesome!
