Congratulations!! That's got to be a nice feeling.
I hope we come in under budget - I've been kind of overestimating for everything along the way. I know we'll be under budget in things like my shoes, dress, invites, etc. Hopefully the rest will follow suit and we'll just save it all!

@minneapolitan: I over-budgeted on a lot of things as well! Plus our reception location took off some things cause she really "liked" us... ? ok! 
@moonie: yes, we have been there. His parents actually moved there almost a year ago. That helped cause they were able to hunt some deals for us!
Congrats! That's awesome! We actually came in under-budget as well (only used about 2/3 of the budget!) and a lot of it had to do with the economy and people not traveling. The extra money we saved... well, some of it went to extra things on the honeymoon... and the rest is being added to our house fund!
Wow, congrats! That is awesome. I checked our budget last night as right now we're $2.10 over. We have 4.5 months to go, so we've booked all our big things. The leftover things might pull us back under budget (hopefully!).
Hah! Every time we nix something or find a way to do it cheaper and we slip in under budget something else crops up within the week to boost it back up to toeing the line! Oh well. So far it's working out and I'm still hoping we'll come in under budget but we'll see.

I'm jealous! We're about $4k over right now... but seriously a $10k budget for a socal wedding for 100 guests. I was just kidding myself

As our wedding gets closer we are realizing we will actually come in UNDER our budget! Yes, it's true! And I can hardly believe it myself!
Honestly, I think it has a lot to do with the economy. We are having a destination wedding and a lot of the people who were planning on coming can no longer make it. Sad! (but it is saving us a bundle on food, drinks and rentals!)
Has this happened to anyone else? What have you done with the extra money? Spent it on something extra? Saved it? I think we are going to save it for when we sell our condo and buy a new one!
