So I am asking you bees do I need a crinoline slip under my dress? Is it really neccessary to have one? does it make a difference in the appearance of your dress? How will I know which one is the right kind for my dress?

It does make a difference depending on the type of dress you have. Do you have a picture of the dress on your or a model so we can see what kind you have? I had an A-line and wore a crinoline, considered a hoop but it was too much.

Show/tell us about your dress, that’ll help us give you the best advice! For reference, I’ll show you a picture of my dress without the crinoline and then with. It looks great without, but I like it better with.

With that dress I would go to the store and try some on. Its gorgeous as is, a crinoline would give it more of a bell shape at the very bottom where its really loose right now. You don’t have to buy from a bridal store- they are usually cheaper online, but it might be worth it to go in and try on a few with the dress and see what you think. They come in different styles, and each one is different in how puffy/how many layers it has.

Beautiful dress! If I were you, I’d get a mermaid crinoline. It will help the dress keep that wonderful shape!
