@icedchaitea: I just purchased Felina's seamless bustier and I love it! It works great under my dress. Not sure if this is what you're thinking of...
I'm wearing a bustier type thing from Frederick's of Hollywood. It's the only thing that sits in the right place for me, it's comfortable, and it hooks & zips in the front (yay for getting dressed by yourself!)
I'm also on the curvy side plus short, so I had a really hard time finding the right thing. I ordered quite a few to try, including the one PP above - and sent them all back... then drove straight to Frederick's to buy what I wore in my last wedding about 10 years ago.
It's not super cheap, but well worth the comfort and ease of putting it on myself.
Good luck!
I'm wearing lace panties and a lace strapless bra. My dress has an invisible corset built in so I'm all set in that department.
i wore a waist cincher and regular undies (the VS "just married!" ones) - no bra because i had cups built in - my dress had a full a-line skirt
the waist cincher i wore was like this:

Panties only for me. My dress has built in boning for the chest and the girls are held up just fine.
I don't think Spanx would do much for me, considering the style of the dress. I plan on wearing a white strapless bra and soft, cozy blue hiphugger panties with white polka dots - my something blue!
I am a curvy bride with a fitted gown as well and I am planning to get a corset from http://myintimacy.com/ that way i know it will fit and support me perfectly (hopefully) without anything digging into me.
I'm having cups sewn into my dress so I'll just be wearing my "Just Married" undies with my new name embroidered on the back.
@pengoala: That's exactly what I'm looking for, but I'm a bit worried about getting it because my dress has a bit of low back - not too much, but low enough for a bustier to show if it's too high. I don't suppose you could measure the back of it and give me the length?
Dear FH is begging for the corset and thigh highs. I kept him waiting this long so if my dress allows I will.
My bustier thing has a low V back, too - so it doesn't show and doesn't make any weird back fat spilloverage happen :)
Regular underwear and no bra.
The lady who did my alterations (an older Asian lady, so imagine the accent) said "You have nice breasts, nice and full, some ladies are just so small, but you do not need a bra!"
Uh...
@Beluga: That'd probably be helpful, huh?! Duh, me!

My dress has got a built in inner corset. I wont need a bra as the dress is very structured at the top. I'm either going to wearing white or blue pants, hopefully the blue wont be seen under the dress but i've bought a white pair just in case.
As of right now, I'm just wearing a lace thong since they sewed in cups to my dress. However, if the dress doesn't seem to "support" the girls enough after my fitting tomorrow, I'm going to order a Nubra.
I'm wearing that confident and curvy power figure from vic secret. I'm so in love with that thing. It's my new best friend.
I haven't purchased a dress yet, but if any of you ladies are like me and wear anything above what VS/Frederick's offers (size E and up), a website called Bare Necessities sells corsets and bustiers for us. :)
I know I'm going to wear the VS "just married" panties (I got a coupon for a free pair of bridal panties in the mail! yippee for saving $15!) And hopefully nothing else. I'm large on top, but my dress has a built in corset and I think its going to be so sucked in that the girls won't need any help!
My dress had a built in corset, but my civil ceremony dress didnt. I found a really affordable and good quality corset at dillards. I got it on clearance for like 38 dollars if I remember correctly. They had a bunch of differnt ones there so its definately worth a try if you have one in your area :)
Cut a slit in the crotch of your spanx, and you won't need to take them off to pee.
@DanielleZara: I didn't realize they sold some that came that way. Mine didn't.
I wanted to be comfortable, so I went went with my usual brand, just got something a bit lacier for under the dress.

Does anyone know where I can get a corset / waist cincher in CANADA?!
I'm having such a hard time finding anywhere that sells them in Canada! :(
@icedchaitea: I got a corset in The Bay lingerie Dept a couple of years ago...and it's still holding up really well.
I'm wearing a DB torsolette. I'm ummmm large chested with a 36 E so a strapless bra for me takes either a torsolette or a act of God.
I'm wearing undies but no bra. I'll change into lingerie later that night. I don't want to wear it all day!

Alright ladies, what's everyone wearing UNDERNEATH their dress?
I'm a curvy girl and I'm in a tight dress, which isn't lace up, therefore, no helpful boning. :(
I'm afraid that if I wear spanx, I will have WAY too much difficulty trying to go...*ahem* pee.
I'm wondering if I should try to find a decently priced corset?! That way it would only be around my torso, and no where near my...er...well, you know. That way I'd have free pee access! (Oh my goodness this is terrible! Haha bear with me!)
What are you ladies doing about this dilemma?!
