Help! I think I’ve made a huge mistake!
I purchased and was measured for my dress without really considering what sort of bra I should or would be wearing. When I was measured I was wearing my typical light pushup bra so I’d like to get as close to the same amount of lift as is possible but I am now realizing that with the low back and lace sleeves of my dress it won’t be possible to wear a regular bra. What would you suggest as far as still getting the nice lift of a pushup bra but with no straps or back?

@DanceAwayDarling: Was the bust your biggest size measurement? or was the dress ordered based on hip or waist? You always order based on your largest measurement…It can always be taken in as needed

@LDay1983: I’m not actually sure. I didn’t see any of my measurements and the only response I’ve gotten back from where I ordered the dress is “Due to the intricate nature of the bust of this dress we will be unable to take the dress in much at all.” They haven’t responded to anything else since so I’m freaking out trying to figure out what sort of undergarment to wear to compensate.

If you aren’t on the busty side, your seamstress might be able to add some cups in the dress. You might be able to have some chicken cutlets as well for more effect.

If the dress has some structure to it (which it looks like it does?) your seamstress should be able to just add cups.
