I always imagined under my bridal gownb i would have this beatiful lacey/sexy lingerie on. No thinking practiacally, the hold me in spanx and push up seamless corset style bra are seeming more appealing. The only thing is, its just not that darn sexy when it comes to the wedding night if you get my drift....

You have to have wedding lingerie! Search for something sexy and white to change into... your husband will never remember what you had on before! If you decide to wear regular panties... hanky panky makes a cute bridal pair!
Don't do the Spanx. It's not as great as it is made out to be for a wedding. It's great outside of weddings, but honestly, have you seen (or tried.....) the hole out of which you are supposed to urinate? There was no way I was going to keep that dry and get it right with all those layers of gown around me. Let's pretend for a second you weren't going to do that and you were going to peel the entire thing off to do it. What a hassle under that gow.
I got the same effect from a bustier I purchased from Felina. It had boning in it and tucked me in a good amount so it controlled. Plus it looked attractive (DH loved it)..No fussing with going to the bathroom either. Not all corsets/bustiers are boring..Check this one out:
Do the spanx IF they look the best! I do think you have to sometimes choose between beauty and function, if it looks the best then use it-you can always change at the last minute.
Then agan, I've heard some couples say they're so tired after the wedding that they didn't even pay attention until the morning. If that's the case, at worse I'll have the SUPER cuteness hidden in our suite and creep out of bed to freshen up and change well before he wakes ;-)
Spanx comes in several styles, one of which has a booty lifter but no tummy control - the waistband stops at your belly button, making them much easier to pull down like tights when you pee
My sexy stuff is not going on under the dress, it is going on after the dress is taken off. How cool to make another grand entrance, this one for your hubby's eyes only? Change out of your gown in the bathroom or dressing room of your honeymoon suite and emerge in your gorgeous lingerie.
I wore Spanx and I am so glad I did. It was my Maid of Honor who helped me out of the dress. I changed into my sexies right after. He was pleased and was grateful he wasn't the one who had to undo all of those buttons.
