I probably won’t be of any help to you, but I was running into the same problem. I ended up ordering from MoissaniteCo and had a great expereience. I was only going for a 1ct round solitaire, but was still afraid of it having a green/yellow tint to it, so I paid the extra money for the enhancement. Overall I am very happy with my ring (although I’m looking to upgrade to something bigger tehe). But I do have some advice, on MoissaniteCo, they have pictures of bigger stones, unenhanced beside of enhanced, and in all of the shapes. So if you’d like to check them out here is the link:

hope that helps you at least a little bit. lol and I know that you can check out the message boards of betterthandiamond.com, under the Moissanite boards; they have some stuff about unenhanced vs. enhanced, and some pictures too 🙂

Will moissanite.net sell you the setting alone, without the center moissanite? If so, you can send it to Moissaniteco and they can set an enhanced princess in it.

@MrsGolden2Bee: Have you checked out betterthandiamond.com? The ladies on the moissanite forums have tons of photos of enhanced and non enhanced stones. I haven’t seen any photos of anything 2ct unenhanced. Everyone says that the larger the stone, the more color it starts to show.

If you want it to look like a diamond, I would really not recommend getting an unenhanced unfortunately. I have a 1 carat unenhanced round brilliant, and I can still definitely see color in it. It’s like a warm grayish green undertone.

I have a 1carat enhanced, and in some lights I can definitely see a greenish tinge.  I would definitely go with an enhanced stone.  I know you can buy the loose stone on moissaniteco and maybe you could have it set locally?
