@Pang27:  it depends on what look you’re going for. The non-enhanced stones have a risk of being grayish green. I believe Moissanite & Co. offers the enhancement to make it more white and “diamond like”.

From what I have seen people recommend, it can depend on the cut as well.  I think the rounds are whiter but I’m not sure.  Some people say over a carat equivalent to enhance if you are colour sensitive.  I have a 6.5mm cushion and it does look greensih/greyish occaisionally but not often.  The enhancement was not worth the money to me because the colour doesn’t bother me, the majority of the time it is white.  I think the size you are looking at the enhancement wouldn’t change much.

@Pang27:  Depends on if you are color sensitive and if you will be wanting to pass your stone for a diamond. I got a 6.5 x 6.5 (1.4 ct equivalent) cushion and got it with the Forever Brilliant enhancement. It is noticably whiter than my coworkers 1 ct unenhanced round brilliant moissanite.

You can find my thread on the color changes of my stone here.

I have some videos here.

Hope it helps! Good luck shopping!!

@Pang27:  I think something at the 3/4c size does not need to be enhanced, but then again I didn’t enhance my 1.25c, so I guess I’m biased.  Classic would range in the I-J and FB in the G-H.  What is the cut?  Round shows the least amount of color either way.  Here’s an example:

And here’s my unenhanced 1.25 round.

@ceebree:  beautiful ring!

To the OP my 1st moissanite was 1ct and not enhanced. My 2nd is 1.5ct and I chose the FB. I need to try to wear them around side by side as I’m not sure it made a humongous difference.  My new gem seems more rainbow refractive tho.

I’m going with a 1.1 carat and I plan on getting mine enhanced. I’m pretty sure I’m color sensitive though.
