I have only 3 girls on my side of the wedding and fiance has 6 guys on his side. Im good with this although I felt weird at first. I thought had everything figured out but I didn’t think about the seating arrangement at the reception for the bridal party. Usually the bride and goom are in the middle and the bride has her girls sit on her side and the groom has his guys. But there aren’t going to be enough seats for his guys on his side and empty ones on my side. Is it ok to put some of his guys by me?

Sure, why not…that’s perfectly fine. We aren’t even doing a sweetheart table. We are allowing our bridal party to sit with their dates and we will all be divided up between two tables, since our tables only seat eight people.

I see no issues with seating some of the guys on your side, on the end after your girls. I think we will have to do that if we include the ushers (my younger brothers) up at the head table too.

you can also opt out of doing a head table and do a sweetheart table instead.

We have an uneven bridal party (4 guys 2 girls) and we are just doing a sweetheart table. The bridal party will be at a table right next to us. I think you can do whatever though, now adays uneven bridal parties are common so I don’t think it would be weird to have guys sitting on your side. The only thing is the guys might want to all be together (weird male bonding thing lol).
