I am worried about having uneven sides of our wedding party. I have 3 girls and 3 guys, my fiance has 4 guys. I don’t want to ask my guy friends to be ushers to “demote” them because they were really excited about standing up for me. The girls are family so they were expecting to be in the wedding party. Is there a good way to do this?

i was gonna say have 2 guys walk down 1 girl depending on if your aisle has enough rough but then you’ll still have 1 guy (maybe best man?) walking down by himself….

or you can just have all the guys standing up at the alter from the beginning and just have the girls walk down alone….

Uneven sides, guys on brides side, girls on groomes side….it’s really no big deal. Stop worrying. It’s not a big huge deal anymore.
To me, it would be more important to have the guy standing next to ME than on my guys side if I want them in the BP. I also think its more important to have those up there with you that you want than just to fill it up.

It doesn’t really make a difference about having uneven sides but why don’t the men stand on his side?
Edit: I thought you meant you had additional gals from his family to put on your side.

You can make it work! I would have your 3 girls/3 guys stand on your side and FI’s 4 guys on his side. As far as walking in/out maybe have 2 guys with 1 girl and then FI’s best man walk out alone? Like MamaHusky suggested.
We’re having 6 girls, 3 guys and are having 2 girls walk with 1 guy.

It’s fine. Don’t stress about it. No one notices the bridal party walking back up the aisle anyway.

I don’t think it matters if things are uneven or what gender is where. Let them all walk in and out individually.
