Ugh those are the symptoms that are bugging me, too!  That and the back pain, I always heard about pregnant women getting back pain but I had no idea it would be so bad!!!  Definitely the sore, tender tummy, and the pressure when I’m on my feet too long.

Yep, some of the more surprising ones are:

Hair- I heard that the hair on your head looks great, but I never knew that the stomach would get fuzzy and it would be so hard to keep up with my eyebrows!

Braxton Hicks starting so soon! I thought they only happened in the last few days.

Suddenly lactose intolerant.

Insomnia (but at least I’m super productive when I can’t sleep!)

Fear- the sudden fear that ‘what if something bad happens’. Anything from slipping and falling on the belly, to car accidents, to random violence, not just to me, but to DH. I wasn’t expecting that!

Gushing boobs. Starting at 22 weeks, I started GUSHING colostrum. Not expecting that!

Round ligament pain. Mine was REALLY severe from weeks 18-22, then went away. Then it CAME BACK around week 30! Surprise!

Ribs that feel broken. That joy started around 26 weeks!

Lactose intolerance! Yet, I still CRAVE ice cream!

My overy has moved behind my uterus for whatever reason…so it hurts when I sneeze or stretch too far. I think that has to be the most annoying one so far!

I’m only 10+3 though! So I’m sure I’ll have a lot more!

@BrandNewBride:  Did your doctor talk to you about why you might be gushing?! Also, were you supposed to save any!? I’m so shocked by this! Has it stopped?!

Btw…you don’t have to answer any of these if you don’t want to! I’m just really curious! I’ve never heard of that before!

Congestion

Increased thickness and length of belly hair…lol

my hips ache really had every other day or so just from having to sleep on my sides (I was a side and back sleeper before so I didn’t think it’d be a huge deal but it is sometimes)

Didn’t really know about any of those beforehand.  I’m 24 weeks and I’ve been feeling really great since about 18 weeks so it’s a good time in the pregnancy overall.

@BrandNewBride:  Really?! I havent had any kind of leakage yet but I know some people never experience that during pregnancy. I am just surprised it happened to you so early!

I’ve had “opposite” symptoms as I’ve referred to them, haha.

I have the OPPOSITE of constipation…clear opposite.

My hair has actually become much thinner and stopped growing as quickly.

Lactose Intolerance

Major weight LOSS

i didnt realise that constant headaches were a typical pregnancy symptom. i had them for the first 14 weeks or so, and to a lesser degree now in 3rd tri

congestion too, painful sneezing and the pressure in my pelvis which i think must be my baby’s giant head (seriously, every appointment i have an ultrasound and his head is always 2 weeks ahead of his body haha)

oh and insomnia. i knew pregnancy made you tired, but i didnt expect to be tired AND unable to sleep. boo to that.

edit – constipation and piles. knew they could happen but didnt anticipate them to this extent. oh the joys of pregnancy¬!!!

@lolita39:  Apparently some women start leaking as early as 12 weeks, and it’s totally normal! I just leak a LOT more than most women. I don’t have to save it, which is great! And it hasn’t stopped–It hasn’t gotten too much worse, though! I’m 32 weeks right now.
