oh and just to add - i wouldnt care much except my sister who is my MOH wanted to be the only "stand out" from the girls, and i kinda want to do that for her, and this might take a way from her. :(
Ah you could easily add a thin gold ribbon under the bustline of that, or along the hem. Your bms got so much freedom to choose, I'm sure that won't be a problem!
I don't think anyone will notice except you but if it bothers you that much you can tie a sash or ribbon under the bust where the seperation is.
I doubt anyone will notice, but I do think adding a flower or something would be nice. At least make sure the jewelry ties it all together.
can the company who made the dress find you a sash of the same color as the gold trim? it really isnt that noticeable.
do you think if i got this to go on the v part of the back of the plain dress (or a set of three in kind of a bunch) it would blend it well enough? it comes from the same designer....

It will be easy to just add a skinny gold ribbon bow at the empire line.

I thought i was being all smart in choosing 5 different styles for my BM's to choose from when they picked their dresses. All the same color, same fabric, same designer.
worked out great - everyone found something they loved.
the problem is, i totally didnt realize that one of the dresses, unlike the other 4 dont have an option to have a contrasting trim, sash or band. so while all the other bridesmaids will have the same espresso color with venetian gold trim, my FSIL will be wearing a solid espresso gown, with no trim.
will this look odd?
here are pics of the dresses that my BMs chose:
and heres the one with NO gold on it:
