We're doing Ray-Ban Wayfarers and custom Chucks. The RBWs are like 129$, iirc, and the Chucks are 69.95$ I think.

What do the boys like to do? Is there a hobby that the boys like to go out and do together?

For instance, all the boys, FI included love golfing so I would consider getting them something for golfing.

Something with their heritage? The FI is German and 2 out of 3 of his groomsmen are his brothers so another idea we have is a German Beer Stein.

We had our wedding weekend at a lake and got our groomsmen a day of fishing with a guide.  One groomsman couldn't stay the whole weekend so we got him a gift certificate to a tropical fish store since it kind of stayed with the theme and he has a huge fish tank.  Both were big hits.

We got our groomsmen cufflinks that fit with their personalities. Ex.: Favorite college team, favorite NFL team, martini glass and shaker (he's a bartender), Xbox controllers (he writes video game reviews) and Scrabble titles that are their initials (he and his gf are are Scrabble buddies). They all loved them.

Sporting event tickets.  We did NFL, but baseball would be nice too and they are a bit more affordable.  Hubby went to the games with them and brought all the tailgate food.

I don't think you have to get them all the same exact thing.  We bought all of our wedding party gifts as if we were buying a super nice birthday present for each person.  So all the gifts were different, some stuff from REI mostly, but was something they each really loved.

If you wanted to go the unique route, get them all something different according to their interests. Maybe some funny fly fishing lures for the fisherman, MRE's for the hiker... hand chalk for the bowler?

Also, it's not unique but guys seem to like them- monogrammed flasks! It's not something they buy for themselves, but they feel cool carrying one.
