Try a beer of the month club for three months. If the drink beer, this is good. I am not sure how much it costs though.
it's not very unique, but we went with gift certificates. we wanted something that they will actually use, and like you said, wouldn't already have from other weddings. we got one a gift certificate for golf and one a gift certificate from his favorite steak restaurant.
good suggestion! month clubs are fun. they have all sorts of different kinds. candy, fruit, etc.
We went with engraved pocket watches. FI wanted something different. They were about $40 bucks each and turned out beautiful!
Beer of the Month clubs can get pricey. We're giving a 3-month subscription but it's $105pp. You could do a one-month membership and if they like it they can renew it.
We're also getting them personalized beer steins. Just google them and there are TONS of sites that come up.

They were a huge hit! I even overheard a couple of them saying amoungst themselves that it was the best groomsman's gift they'd even gotten or heard of. Made me quite happy to hear that! :)
EDIT - oh, and I think the meat brands+gloves+storage rack were a little over $40 each and the glasses were about $25 each.

We're doing cufflinks, socks, a boat trip, and small gift cards. We got each person personalized cufflinks for about $15-20 each off etsy, socks were $4 each from Express (bought 4), the boat trip is a gift from my dad (but $25 each), and $15 gift certificates for either Amazon, iTunes, or a local restaurant.

We ended up getting the best man a really nice bottle of red wine and a novelty USB wireless mouse that looked like a gold bullion bar because he's a writer. He loved it and all in all it cost us less than £20.
We have decided on personalized camping folding chairs. All of our groomsmen are always complaining (and trying to steal our) camping chairs, that it seemed like the best thing. Just yesterday we found a great deal we couldn't pass up, Dick's sporting goods store has them 2 for 16.99!! I couldn't believe it.

We're giving monogramed whiskey decanters and a set of double-old fashioneds. All the guys in our party drink whiskey. Pottery Barn also has a really nice monogramed cocktail shaker for $24 and Williams Sonoma for $29.95

What are you getting your groomsmen? We need ideas and are looking to spend no more than $40 or $50 each. 2 of our groomsmen are in weddings practically every other weekend, so we need something outside of the toiletry bag box.
