Have you thought about designing your own? You can find some nice graphics on Etsy for pretty cheap to use to get the custom look you want- there are lots of free fonts to download, and you can get a 30 day free trial of Adobe Photoshop to use to design them.

texaslemon:  I can’t wait to design my invites! It’s the one wedding thing I’m most excited for, I think.

If you have a really detailed and specific vision, it may be the best way to go. 🙂

texaslemon:  I think that after reading about your Save the Dates being hard to read, that your FI is absolutely right and that type of scipt would be difficult for older guests.

There’s plenty of ways to be “indie” while still being easily readable. I say design something yourselves and stick to  a scripty font for your names any any headings then stay with a serif font for all the other type. Find a border or filigree elemnt to incpororate throught the invitation suite.

good luck!

We went with magnetstreet because we really wanted STD magnets and I had to have them heart-shaped. They were very responsive and did custom work without additional charges and met all out timelines. We ended up going back to them for our invitations and our guests loved them. We went with a rustic theme without too many vintage-y embellishments.

texaslemon:  Yes, I had the same stuggle.. too many flowers, too pink, too girly… We’re still not 100% decided but I’m sure we’ll be ordering from that site. Depending when your wedding is, they always come out with new designs. They just posted Whitney Port collection but there’s only like 9 (I was looking forward to seeing them and it left me a bit dissapointed!)

Good luck!
