i am not really - but have several ideas....although they can get pricey... wandering cocktail tables - def. conversation starter (people dressed up and wearing a table); belly dancers/ salsa dancers to entertain or give a simple lesson during dinner; tarot card reader; artist to paint on site your reception; caricaturist; celebrity impersonators to make cameo appearance...just a few... good luck!

instead of tapping glasses for the bride and groom to kiss, have the guest(s) sing a song / tell a joke, etc. it can be quite funny

I have heard of a few things like crossword puzzles & name searches for people to fill out during the reception. Or if your having an outdoor ceremony you can have outdoor games like washers & horseshoes (thats what we are doing Laughing)

I want to have board games, because I am not a fan of dancing and that's what I usually do at family gatherings/ parties with friends.

Depends on your crowd, but a friend of mine had an Elvis impersonator at her wedding reception - too funny! We're having a band, but I'm almost sorry we're not doing karaoke. With my family and friends, it would be a riot!

I went to a wedding where they asked some professional dancer friends to give a dancing lesson - they taught us the Rumba.

Otherwise, I've seen weddings set up Nintendo Wiis and had wii sports or rock band for people to play. Also, I love the whole photobooth thing, and think the homemade ones with a simple backdrop and camera leave more room for creativity and fun!

We are having a photobooth in addition to our DJ, which isn't really that unique anymore but will be for our guests. Other than that I am going to get some cards, maybe travel size games (Boggle or something) that guests can play.

Other than that, during our dinner our Kissing Game will be kind of interactive. I am placing envelopes (in the same color as my wedding invitation envelopes) on the table. Guests will open their envelope and do what the card says inside if they want us to kiss... one card says everyone at your table takes a shot, another says share a kiss with someone at your table and we will replicate, etc. I am adding table numbers on the envelopes to control who gets what cards (I have 6 different ideas).

We are also doing a choreograhed dance to "Land of a 1000 Dances" to get everyone in the mood to dance.

From 9-10 pm, we are playing Rockband, the video game!  We have all the instruments, and the 'guys' are choreographing one special song as a performance as a 'band'!!! Can't wait to see that one!

Having a silhouette artist at your reception is very popular.
