could you perhaps have the attendants seated during the ceremony?

I have seen a pic of a couple with the bridal party standing behind them in a semi circle facing the couple and the rest of the guests!
It was really cute!

I agree with Future Mrs. Martin you can also have them stand on the sides. It's 2010 traditions are out the window, as long as they are all there celebrating with you. Many couples choose not to have a bride side/groom side seating anymore. The idea is today you are united as one and so should your families and friends. Happy Planning! If there are steps at the ceremony site, use them to add height and texture to your ceremony.

so i have 8 groomsmen and 4 bridesmaids. i am wondering how to do something different to make it look more even. has anyone ever mixed up the bridal party so its not just all girls on one side and all guys on the other? or maybe made a circle around the bridal couple? i need some unique ideas!!!
