Are you look for a site to host your own personal site? I use mywedding.com. They have tons of choices, and not all of them are typical fluffy fluff stuff. The cool part is, all of the styles they have, also has a matching wedding invitation suite. Hope this helps

I found some good templates on MyWedding, you’ve probably checked that out.

If I had it to do over again, I’d build my own website off a blog using Mrs. Corn’s info: http://www.weddingbee.com/2007/06/06/wedding-website/

Mrs. Lovebug has some good tips, too, on how she took the Corn challenge.

With This Blog, I Thee Wed

Seriously, I’ve used some of their tips and references to build a website on Blogger and it’s pretty easy. Totally worth checking out!

try nearlyweds.com…fab site, it stays up for 2 years, so you can do all the planning stuff and post it there, as well as all the follow up pictures and stuff…there’s an rsvp option, you can put up tons of pics, keep a blog type journal, and it’s got tons of fun funky designs…their tagline is “getting married rocks – share it online”…which I loved!

I like the designs on Nearlyweds and MyWedding best. If you’re on a Mac, try building one in iWeb – it’s pretty user-friendly, and Mrs Cupcake did a post about it, if I recall correctly.

I checked out momentville and mywedding and generally found both had a lot of designs to choose from. Ultimately, I liked the design on mywedding better and liked their password protection too.

You have to buy a url. If it’s not an upgrade option on your website, try Go Daddy.

Or just make your own! I’m too picky to leave this stuff up to somebody else. I guess it helps that it’s what I went to skools for. :p

It’s not free but if you use wedding tracker their tool helps you find a unique url at no extra cost. That is important to me as well so I’m leaning towards paying a little to have a shorter web address.
