My FI and I will be trying for a baby in a couple years after the Wedding. I have already started thinking about baby names. My FI has 2 boys already from another Marriage as well, just to say.
My Dad and older brother both name are James but my dad goes by Jim. My nephews middle is James. I LOVE the name James but I think it would be weird to name my possible son James, so Im opting for it to be a middle name… I happen to LOVE a unisex name for a boy………………………………………..
Sacha/Sasha… I cant get over how much I love it. Some people think its dumb and too girly but it was originally a Russian MANS name lol (plus Ive never met a girl named sasha) Ive met 3 males in my life named Sacha/Sasha and everytime they have introduced themselves, my jaw drops. I just love it. Im just not sure about spelling…. My mom says if I do it the Russian way, Sacha, people might pronounce it SATCHA but if I spell it the ”girl” way and some say, it will look too girly. Well, I will decide that when it comes down to it I guess but Sasha James, UGH love. 🙂
Also, for a girl I like Annalise 😛
Thats my baby name ”rant” 😀

I would definitly spell it the more traditionally masculine way.

Well, I’m Russian so I know A LOT of Sashas because it’s a super common name. It is completely unisex and just as appropriate for men as it is for women, (short for Alexander or Alexandra). My first boyfriend’s name was Sasha. My childhood best friend was Sasha (boy), etc etc. I’ve never seen it spelled Sacha so I voted for Sasha.

We are stuck on Charlie for a girl. Maybe spelled Charley or Charleigh, but I love unisex names! So you go 🙂

I looooove Sasha for a boy or girl. It is one of my favorites 🙂

Name him Alexander James and call him Sasha since it’s a nickname anyway! I work with an Alexander who goes by Sasha.

First off, YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!! I’m so happy to hear of someone possibly using Sasha for a boy. Its one of my favorite boy names.
Second, I’d spell it Sasha.

The only Sasha/Satcha I can think of is male (Sacha Baron Cohen) and I imagine that’s probably true for a lot of people, so as long as you don’t mind the association with the comedian (and I wouldn’t, I kind of think he is hot!), I wouldn’t worry too much about the masculine/feminine issue. But looking at both names, I do have to say Satcha seems more manly of the two when in print. I can’t put my finger on why.l

I like it spelt Sacha better, does seem more manly! I think the names cute though, I think one of Naomi Watts’ sons is called that 🙂

I love Sasha as a name. For some reason “Sacha” makes me think of sriracha. 🙂

I like Sasha… I used to watch this gymnastics show “Make it or Break it” on ABC Family and the hot gymnastics coach was named Sasha. He was Russian (I think) also.
