@awakemysoul:  I rode some rides in my first trimester. I rode spiderman, cat and the hat, etc. I just wouldn’t recommend going on the roller coasters or anything that jerks you around too much. Almost every ride there has a sign about avoiding if you are pregnant… even the light ones. And I would agree with your doctor… there are some rides that are just bouncy and may upset an already sensitive tummy. 🙂 just my two cents.

@awakemysoul:  I went to LegoLand & Tivoli Gardens while in Denmark this summer. I was in my 5th and 6th week of pregnancy when I visitied the parks. DH & I pulled the map out and crossed off all of the rides that had the pregnancy warning & just went on the others. We still had a blast enjoying how awesome the parks were (Legoland Billund is the first legoland ever! & Tivoli Gardens is the 2nd oldest theme park in the world & what Walt Disney used as his inspiration to build Disneyland.)

Don’t ride the Hulk coaster. I used to ride it all the time and would black out as it took off. Not sure why I thought it was a good idea to keep riding it now that I think of it.

There are loads of things you can do while pregnant, some are a little jerky but no more than if you went for a little jog.

Luckily there are exhibits to see and shops to visit. I’d watch the rides in progress and see how jerky they are, and watch where the restaints fall. Be careful, and have fun.

@awakemysoul:  No problem! I actually have an annual pass there, so if you have any questions feel free to ask. I’ve been to both Universal Parks so much its almost boring now haha.

I’m in my second trimester and I just got back from spending the week at Six Flags, Darien Lake. We booked the trip long before I found out I was pregnant. I love rollercoasters but I didn’t go on any rides while I was there. Everything that I have read says that you shouldn’t go on rides while pregnant because there’s a chance of placenta abruption. There’s a greater risk on rides that come to sudden stops. Every single ride at Darien Lake had a sign that said pregnant women weren’t allowed to ride them, including all of the kid rides. As much as I love going on rides, to me it isn’t worth the risk.
