Hmm.  I think they should have been more accommodating when you said you were unhappy with the results.  I definitely think you should do another trial if you ddin’t get what you want (who’s to say she’d do it right day of!) but sounds like it may be best to try a different place? Is that an option?

I don’t see any photos, but I would say that if there were any problems, I would consider finding a new place to get your hair done.  It is worth the extra money spent to have hair that you love on wedding day.

You may want to ask for recommendations for stylists in your area that excel in doing hair for events.  Best of luck!

I went to my friends hair trial and every time my friend wanted to try something different, the hairstylist would do it.  It is your trial and what you envision, not what the hairstylist envisions.  Poor attitude from the hairstylist, poor attitude from the salon, you’re not happy, the hair do didn’t stay, and a bald spot- are enough reasons to try a new place.

My best friend got married a couple of weeks ago. Her hair trial was awful – her stylist had to go get another stylist to do a braid, they kept saying ‘oh, that will look different / better on the actual day’, and she was very unhappy with the result. In the end she cancelled with them and booked with another salon. At the trail with the new salon, they spend over an hour going over possible styles until she found one she loved. They were incredibly accomodating and friendly. I would suggest you find a salon that is going to make you and your happiness a priority – this is not something you want to be stressing over on your wedding day!! Good luck!

Check out Mrs. Cowboy Boots blog post for today.  She had two hair trials and was much happier with the second one.
