Just so you know, I have been semi-stalking your posts about your ring and I think it looks soo pretty! Your stone looks amazing and I think you should carry your beautiful ring with pride, it’s one of the prettiest engagement rings I have ever seen (true story).

You could always send it back and get Amora. That size and cut is going to have warmth. I bet you and your camera pick it up more than other people do. Try it out for a few more days, but if it’s really bothering you, change it. I think it’s a beautiful ring.

My FB round 1.5ct had the same problem. I didn’t mind it much but it seemed more like a KLM range than the purported HIJ range that it should have been.

It is quite warm but I think the contrast is pretty.

Did you not want it to be golden? I think it is literally one of the prettiest stones I’ve seen on a ring.

I only really see warmth in the first and second to last photos, but it’s so pretty. It doesn’t look yellow at all, just a warm buttery colour, it really suits the stone and setting

Even diamond OECs look best with a little bit of warmth. I think it looks intentional and gorgeous. It looks a pretty, old diamond. I love it.

I really like it. I think it looks interesting, antique and because of that the warmth is quite pretty.

I LOVE warm stones and think yours looks rich and timeless. I would not change it.

Is that from Schubach’s?

If so, I would not worry at all! They handpick the most gorgeous moissanites for their customers.

Don’t worry, enjoy the bling!

RedHeadKel:  I see sliiiiight yellow in the first two pics, but not in the others. I have a bunch of pics of my 8mm stone and I only see slight yellow occaisionally in those. I don’t have an OEC though, I have a FB Round. I get the panic though…I stared at mine as long as I could before the boyfriend whisked it off to …his parents? the jewelers?! I dunno. I think it’s just the way of the stone, sometimes you’ll catch it a little and other times you’ll never notice it. If you like, I can send you pics of my stone as I don’t want to spam up the board with them lol.

OEC is one of the warmest cuts.

RedHeadKel:  What are the stones in the setting? It definitely looks quite warm to me but i think it would look less warm if it didn’t contrast so much with the other stones. Maybe you could have those switched out for warmer stones to match?
