Hi All! I’m reaching out to all of you for some suggestions. My dad passed away 3 years ago. I would love to remember him at our wedding reception during the traditional father/daughter dance by playing a song that is upbeat, for all of our guests to dance to. I’ve been struggling on what to do although skipping over the moment is not an option since my dad and I were extremely close and I want him to still be part of our wedding. This moment could be a somber one but I know my father would have been dancing the night away and he wouldn’t want to see me cry or any of our guests 🙂 Does anyone have any suggestions for an upbeat song, preferrably Irish, that you could suggest. I was thinking about “When Irish Eyes are Smiling” although I’m not sure how many people will actually get up to dance to that. I’ve searched for a more modern version, but I haven’t had any luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 🙂 Thank you!
