Not too long ago I posted about my brother and his “housr guests”, to briefly update my brother is a single father with two kids. His ex wifes sister got kicked out of het moms and moved in with my brother in January. She is 35 and has a 10 year old girl. She brought her daughter and her 20 year pld boyfriend who is her babys dad (she is currently four months pregnant). Since moving in my brother is paying all their bills for their food and the boyfriends cigarettes and they aren’t looking for work but sleeping all day every day and going to bars at night. The mom wouldn’t even wake up to enroll her kid in school leaving my brother to do it to make sure she does well in school. My brother is now also the babysitter for this girl because the mom and boyfriens stayed locked in a bedroom all day. I could go on and on but that’s not why I’m posting.
First I need opinions on the girl. My brother has brought her to our home each time he visits and the more she comes over the more I see how… manipulative she is even trying to get me to take her side over my six year olds by making up stories about my kid. But again that’s not the complete issue. Rhis past weekend when they were here this girl was actig what appeared to me to be strangely. She ia changing and getting fully undressed in the room wirh her eiggt year old and six year old cousins (my brothers kids) she also spends a lot of time laying down with these kids legs wrappes around eachother in positions as if they were a newlywed couple. Heck my husband and I don’t cuddle that much. It gets to the point where I don’t know if I should be concerned. The younger kids jump on her wrapping their legs around her hugging her while thwy roll around in bed. I haven’t seen any actual sexual motions but there is a lot of body rubbing and what not rhat goes on. I try to intervene and have taught my daughter well what’s appropriate and what’s not but I’m concerned for my brothers kids. I don’t know if this is normal appropriate behavior or not.
Secondly my brother is bringing the girl and her mom and her moms boyfriend over for easter tomorrow. We recently learned they have been not only mooching off my brother but also stealing from him so we want thwm no where near our home. Problem with thos is that if I tell my brotherbthey are not welcome I know he will get upset and offended and likely not bring his kids over for easter. I love my brother. He is one of the only people in my family I still keep contact with and I highly respect him. I don’t want to offend him but this woman is not welcome in my home. I’m eight months pregnant and have no tollerance for theives, especially this one whonif I confronted her on anything she would try to fighr evwn being pregnanr and fightig a prwgnant woman. I dont want her around.
My brother knows she is a thief and steals drom him but he is so kind hearted he doesn’t want to see the bad in anyone. Should I just risk upsetting him to keep this woman out of my home?
