I can't believe it. I have THREE new parties for next year already. They're all for the same family...one Surprise Birthday, a 40th Birthday, and a sweet 16! I have started looking for venues already.

I had a "meeting" with this lady that I call my Grandmother. She helped to raise me when I was in Kindergarten, while my mom attended college. I told her about my wanting to start Event Planning. I asked for advice, because she has had a very successful non-profit here since the 60's. She is a very well-known business woman, etc. She told me that she knows that I can do it. I left her house with lots of great pointers and a very small event to plan for next month! She has another one coming up after that one that I am going to do also.
I am excited and nervous!
