Oh my God I can't even begin to explain how much this episode made me mad.
1) Amber was being a bitch and wouldn't accept Gary's proposal on the sandy beach simply because he didn't word it right, because he didn't "put a lot of thought into it" even though he did?! The spells out divorce right there. And the fact that in every. single. shot. Amber is sleeping, or watching her kid run around and cry but doing nothing about it. For instance her kid tearing apart the chocolate shop and going behind the counter. Nope, did nothing. Her baby crying in the sand. Nope, didn't do anything to make the baby's first beach experience memorable. Seriously stupid.
2) Catelynn and Tyler going to counseling is probably a good thing but I don't understand why Tyler just can't believe Catelynn. I mean as far as we know she lied to him once not a bunch. And granted I'm sure it planted some doubt in him but he does NOT need to see her phone records. He's pretty much destroying every little hope she has of a sane relationship with him. I just feel so bad for her because he was doing so well in the other season and now I feel like he's overwhelmed with some surprising jealousy.
3) I really hope that Kyle makes Macy happy :) They are so cute together.
4) Poor Farrah. I never liked her but I feel so so bad for her with everything that has been going on with her.

Amber: Totally a Beyotch! I can't believe how she was acting when he was asking her to get married. And then the fact that all she did the whole time in the car was yell at her kid or say stop doing that. I totally dislike her!
Catelynn: I'm so glad they went to counseling but it seems as though Tyler is never going to forgive her. Espcially since he asked for phone records! I wish they would just go back to being happy like last season!
Maci: LOVE her! She is by far the best mom! I hope that Kyle works out for her.
Farrah: Some days I feel bad for her other days I don't. She's not very responsible.
Aw I missed it and pnly saw part of the episode before! What did Catelynn lie about?
@MsAqua: Yeah with Catelynn and Ty I just don't understand what is going on? I miss the old them. PS. Macy never ceases to amaze me. She's weaning him off his pacifier and everything. Way to go!
@KIKI82: She had dated another guy while she lived in FL a few years back. They slept together and everything. A couple episodes she had spoken to her ex and she denied it to Tyler. When he found out about it he flipped and almost broke it off with them. It was horrible.
@SweetRose2011 They used to be one of my favorites. I was really impressed when they chose addoption. I think everything will go back to normal. During the Season preview, I think it showed them actually taking a trip out to see her and everything seemed happy. Hopefully going to therapy really helps.
Maci is amazing! The fact that she was ok with Ryan's GF being around was really awesome on her part. It would be hard to have to raise a kid and worry about other people coming in and out of it's life.
I was kind of confused about Farrah's situation...when I watched her on Sixteen and Pregnant I remember her saying she didn't WANT her baby's daddy in the picture...I guess he died? And now she's thinking she did want him in the picture? And how the heck does she afford the car and apartment?
@kate169: I think in the next epsiode it talks about her money issues. I know she's really struggling.
Macy: Impressive. Mature enough to deal with his new girlfriend (said girlfriend also appearing to be more mature than Ryan, no shock there!) and handling her business. So far that girl can do no wrong.
Amber: Um, wow. I agree with everything that has been said, and while I don't exactly love Gary, she is a piece of work. I feel awful for their daughter listening to them yell all the time. When Gary and Amber were dancing, she was bitching at him for not dancing how she wanted him too even. What is WRONG with her? I also find it incredibly telling that you have not seen her parents around much...
Farrah: Still has a snotty attitude but you can see where she gets it from - Her father caters to her mother and allows her mom to act like a child - so how do you think Farrah is going to be as a kid or as a mom? I did for the very first time feel badly for her mother though when she was trying to show Farrah the baby book. Heartbreaking how sometime love can go so crazy bad so fast.
Catelynn & Tyler: I'm almost positive something has happened off camera with these two because he is either being really crazy about one lie or something is wrong, big time. His mom does not help the situation. I think he is really sad that they gave Carly up and can't shake the feeling that he should have kept her. Catelynn also was the driving force behind the adoption - he seems to resent her for it.
MAN I am addicted to watching this show!
@kate169 I think the reason she came off as not wanting the baby daddy in the picture was because her family told her to cut him out. He died in a car accident before her baby was born.
@christalynn11: yeah it makes me very upset to know how much his mom thinks she needs to butt in their business. She always feels the need to tell him that he needs to do this or that and how he needs to stop growing up so fast but he had a baby, it's hard to tread back from that. I mean at least Catelynns mom is more supportive. And I felt really bad for Catelynn when they pretty much kicked her out last second.
@christalynn11: I agree with you...I think Tyler resents Caitlyn for being the driving force in giving up Carly.
@MsAqua: I see...It's hard to remember but I was shocked to find out he died. I dislike Farrah, but I felt really sad for her when she started crying about him.
Oh I see. Thanks for the update guys. I hope they both make it threw but they are so young!
Maci is my fav! She's so responsible despite having a tool of an ex! I really dislike hime. Everytime he comes on I think JERK!
@kate169 Here is the link that tells what happened. I don't think a lot of people knew what happened until the episode where she is talking to the counsleor. I think the main reason it was never brought up on the show was because she didn't even tell him she was having a baby. I think in one episode, she got a text from him but said she was going to lie about the rumor being true.
Oh ya! ANd at first I felt bad for Farah's mom having such a bratty daughter and then always wanting to date during the first season but noe the tables have turned and he rmom is the one looking bad!
So addicting!
@MsAqua: I remember her getting that text and lying about being pregnant. How awful of a situation. No one expects to die young that way, but it goes to show you have to live as though that is a possibility and say what you mean to people.

I never liked Amber. She's generally an abusive and manipulative person from what I can see. When she slaps him around and talks crap about him to their daughter I want to reach through the TV and shake her.
I hope things work out for Caitlyn and Tyler. But I'm with @kate169 and @christalynn11 . I think he's just now starting to deal with the adoption and I sense some resentment.
This show is my guilty pleasure. Glad to have found some other Bees that enjoy it.
I've noticed a lot of people on the other thread and this one wonder how the girls (especially Farrah) afford everything:
They are on a national TV show, I'm sure they aren't doing it for free 
Amber: I hate them both. Seriously. Especially on the trip down to florida when she was just sleeping the whole time. And the way she acted about the proposal??? ridiculous. Although he annoyed the crap out of me too. They both suck.
Cateylnn: I don't really think the whole problem is about her lying THIS time. The problem is that she lied throughout their relationship about Tyler being her first. Think back to your first... especially if it was in high school. When they started dating she lied to him about being a virgin and lied to him about him being her first. That is kind of a foundational lie and I totally understand why he is so upset. Although wanting to check her phone records is pretty crazy. But he's been overall good so I forgive him. I hope they can work it out. I feel like he really is still more affected/haunted by the adoption than Catelynn.
Macie: Love. I do think she's being super good about Ryan's new girlfriend, and the girlfriend seems pretty nice. Too nice for Ryan anyways. I don't think Kyle is very cute but I think they look cute together and he seems super nice. :)
Farrah: Ummm that scene with her mom where she says Farrah attacked her first?? REALLY? Maybe I'd believe you if Farrah didn't have a split lip, you had one bruise, or you didn't THREATEN THE POLICE WITH TWO KNIVES. Freakin psycho. It makes me so sad that Farrah's only options are to deal with that crazy bitch or cut her family off.
@CorgiTales: I don't think that Catelynn was lying about him being her first. I definately remember her saying that she and Tyler had been together for some length of time and that while she was in FL everything happened. I think that her and Ty had already been together or at least met already. But maybe I'm wrong?
@SweetRose2011: hmmm maybe. i thought tyler keeps harping on her being his first and him not being his though? Regardless. this apparently happened 3 years ago and she has been lying about it since then. I think some secrets/lies lose power with that much time but others mushroom. it has hard to feel like 3 years of your life are tainted by a lie.

Agree with you guys- Maci is awesome! I so hope things work out with Kyle b/c she totally deservces to be happy. She is by the far the most mature from all the girls and the best mom!
Amer and Gary- i wanted to slap her... on the beach at the proposal... this is what she's been asking him for... he does it... and she bitches about it- WTF ?? Gary isn't an angel either... like when he took a brake to date another girl. And overall they are both just bad parents!
Ty and Caitlen- I am totally on his side. Once you have been lied to it is really really hard to believe the other person again. I think Ty is just more mature than her. I think it was the last episode when he said something along the lines of... when you love/respect someone, how could you lie to them when you know it will hurt them.. So if he needs solid proof, like phone records, she should be more than willing to provide them, unless she has something to hide. I feel like she doesn't even get why he is so upset which makes me thing she doesnt understand the severity of what she did. Her mom is super f-d up too. She doesn't even seem to care about her.
Farrah- she is such a brat and she's a really bad mom. She just annoys me!
Did anyone watch last season's 16 and pregnant? Do you know what's going on with the girl who had twins? ( I know, i am such a loser for even caring, but whatever!)
@bdf19: I don't know but that girl was beyond crazy (the one who had the twins, didn't realize how amazing her man was for her and left him for some DB that she liked in high school). I just felt so bad for HIM, because she was ungreatful.

I thought Farrah's parents were getting divorced... wasn't that on one of the after shows last season? Why is he always around now?
Maci is BY FAR my favorite! She is amazing!! So mature with his new girlfriend and a great young mother.
Farrah: I feel bad for her now. Her mom has some serious issues. I think she is spolied and rude but with the way she grew up and the things she went though I can kind of understand why. I'm glad she sought help. @MissBrenton I thought they were too but I think he stuck around...he seems like a good guy but the mom is super depressed/doped up
Amber: Did anyone see that in U.S Weekly she lost 64lbs? She is claiming to be 118/size 1 now
Catelynn: I really liked her before but now her and Tyler are kind of annoying to me and I don't like watching them as much as last season.
Oh How I love MTV reality TV. Too bad they no longer allow access to viewers outside of the US and translated reality shows are just not the same! This thread really caught me up :)
I really don't think its fair to call any of the moms on the show "bad moms". Even though Farrah is a brat and Amber is a pill too, I'm sure if I was a teen mother I would not be coming off too hot on tv either. They're young and immature, but I would not say they were bad parents. All you see on TV is a little portion of their life. And parenting definitely has a learning curve....these girls are just making their mistakes in front of millions.
@kate169: I would agree with this. I think the show focuses more on the life of the mom and not the actual parenting.
I think this episode this week was the first time I really saw a lot of "parenting"
Again, the show focuses on the drama in their life, "oooh how many times this episode with Amber and Gary break up" and not the, "OMG my baby has a fever and I'm not sure what to do".
Ughh, Amber just gets worse and worse each episode. She is a really dreadful person.
It made me so mad when she just puts her baby on the sand and the baby cries, and she’s like “what’s the matter with her?” Sand gets HOT – babies have sensitive skin. When I lived in FL, lots of time *I* couldn’t walk barefoot in the sand because it was so hot. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out the baby was uncomfortable – pick her up, take care of her. Instead she just complains and whines. And the car ride down – God she is a dreadful person.
I’m glad to see that (in the previews) it looked like Farrah finally put baby-proof type covers over her electrical outlets, since last time Sophia reached to grab at the outlet, Farrah was more concerned with grabbing her iPod/iPhone away from Sophia, and left her right there with next to the unprotected outlet.
Tyler irritates me, but then I remember he is a 17/18 year old guy. Honestly I think it would be best for them if they went their separate ways. If Tyler has that big of an issue with C talking to her ex that he feels he has to ask for phone records – he’s not going to get over the issue by seeing the records. No matter what the records show, it isn’t going to be the end of it for him. They are so young, and both seem like decent, good people, it’s too bad they’ve (he has) created so much drama. His mom doesn’t help either, as she seems too concerned with being his friend and not his mom. At least her mom is coming around a little it seems, which is good.

I watched the show last night. Maci is definitely my favorite of the girls. She seems like she has her stuff together.
Did anyone notice that little baby Leah was screaming and NOT strapped into her carseat during the drive down to Florida?! That was a bit shocking.
ohmygoodness! i cant stand amber & gary! they are disgusting and it drives me nuts how Amber just gets mad when Leah cries. HELLO! she's a baby! aghh & somebody PLEASE by Gary some bigger shirts!
i used to be really annoyed with Farrah. She definitely gave off the spoiled brat vibe. But after this season, i like her more and i feel bad for her. Her mom is such a psycho!! I don't blame Farrah for wanting to shut her out.
tyler is definitely going overboard with this whole situation. i understand she lied, but its not like she cheated on him with this other guy. she apologized for lying and told him the truth...he needs to drop it.
Maci is my FAVORITE!! she's such a great mom to Bentley! i hope everything works out with kyle too. ugh Ryan is such a JERK!
this show is great because it shows teenagers the truth about teenage relationships. the way they act is just a reflection of their immaturity and is totally to be expected! no one that age (no matter how mature they seem) has the capacity to deal with these types of stressors. the biggest mistake i see so far is that the focus of all these girls it the "relationship" with either the father or someone else.... they need to focus instead on getting their lives in order. school, jobs etc.... strong relationships with men will only come with future maturity. no more drama!!!!
@kate169: IDK IDK how she does it but I think her savings are dwindling to nothing and she is going to have serious wake up call.
Farrah gets on my nerves! Whens she was pregnant she worked my nerves. Now that she has had her daughter, she gets on my nerves. She is lucky she didn't grow up in my household. Teen mom or not, she would have had her face in the floor talking to my mother like that. Just crazy how she is so disrespectful to her mother. Her dad can't take control at all. And Farrah acts like having a baby in high school doesn't stress her family out or anything, geez! I hope teenagers are actually watching teen mom. Everyone I know that watches is nearly 30 years old!
When they talk about having an apartment etc and you wonder how they pay for me...You also have to take into consideration that MTV is paying them to do the television show. Now, I couldn't tell you how much, but if the jersey shore kids were making 1000 an episode the first season, and the real housewifes make 3333.00 a month from the show....
@Sulli301 I just read the US article. Judging from the pictures, I highly doubt the fact that she is a size one. I'm 5'2" and when I weighed 120lbs, I was still wearing a size 5 most days. Congrats to her though for losing that much weight!
@cupcake26 I agree, I'm sure most of them are making money for each episode. I just think that Farrah may have gotten in over her head with all the bills. The preview for the next episode she sells her car on craigslist but ends up getting a back check from the person and is out $3000!
