We just got back from our ultrasound and got the best news ever. Our little man is very normal. 

When we arrived they told us they were checking for more than just a bowel obstruction. I really appreciated that they were honest about some of the concerns of the other ultrasound tech, but when they started rattling off the list it made me even more nervous. They thought my cervix was too short, the baby had a bowel obstruction, a cleft palate, and a possible issue with the spine. They also thought something looked strange with my placenta. 

I sat their kind of numb, during the ultra sound. The tech was great and talked the entire time, but told me that she needed the doc to discuss abnormalities and she couldn't. So we waited for him to come back in and he finally said, "I feel like this ultrasound shows as much of a normal and healthy baby as we can see" 

SWEET RELIEF!!!!! 

We got to see our perfect little baby for 45 minutes flip flopping in there too. 

Thank you everyone for all of your support. You really helped me get through the last 48 hours. 

@hisgoosiegirl:  I know! As they were saying all of things, DH and I were just squeezing the others hands so tight and we were both fighting back tears.

Needless to say once we were in the clear we both started sobbing. The doctor was so nice. He went through every part of the body showing us each little part telling us what was normal and showing us that every part showed in normal range. It was the best doctor experience I have ever had.

Ah, excellent news! Sorry you had a scare, but very happy it ended up being no biggie.
