OK bees you may remember my post about my dress regret from last week: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/been-battling-some-serious-dress-regret-any-thoughts-pic-heavy
Since then I have tossed around the idea of just putting a belt with my current dress or maybe trying on some other. Enter Ivy and Aster. From the moment I saw these dresses I was in love with them- it was what I had pictured myself in (something flowy since I am getting married in Vermont in a barn). And today I went to a trunk show and tried on the Sweatpea and of course I loved it.
Now I need your help- do you like the sweatpea better? Should I keep my dress? Ahhhh decisions… My mom isn’t here and only one of my bridesmaids is. I feel so lost and confused. And now I am that bride!
Original Priscilla of Boston:
Sweatpea (keep in mind its the sample and doesn’t fit me up top)

I love the second dress, it just has a glow to it! BUT you will look gorgeous in either one!

I think the POB dress is much more flattering on your figure, regardless of whether the Ivy and Aster dress fits at top. Your waist looks tiny in the POB, where the other dress just kind of hangs and hides your figure to me.

I honestly love the first dress on you. It seems more formal.

I think the second dress is more flattering!

@MrsLongcoatPeacoat: Thank you! I think that’s what I am worried about though- I feel like I look too formal for the wedding we’re having- or maybe I look too formal for me. I’m just not a very formal person wearing sweats pretty much any chance I can 🙂

definitely NOT the Priscilla of Boston. not flattering on you, sorry to say. I think a v neck would look nicer, with an A-line silhouette.

I really like your original dress. I think it looks gorgeous on you!

The first dress is more flattering, but it’s hard to say because the second one is the wrong size.

Is there any way you’d consider other dresses beside these two? If I may be completely honest I just don’t think you’ve found your dress yet. Neither one of these do it for me. But if you absolutely love both of them, I think I’d go with the PoB and get a sash.

- Wedding: June 2015 - Pharmacy Museum
the first dress definitely needs something, like a pretty sash. the second dress is quite cute.

POB is stunning on you! The second one doesn’t hold a candle to it, IMO.

I love the POB on you! I love the fit and the color and I think it fits your barn wedding 🙂

I like the second one. I like its fabric 🙂 I also asked my SO.. he said he thought they were the same dress ! hehe 🙂 But when I asked him to humor me and pick one, he picked the second one too 🙂
