You may remember my lamenting about my plight as a large breasted woman on a quest to find a strapless swimsuit so I can avoid tan lines. (this thread: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/i-hate-my-huge-boobs )
I got so much great advice and encouragement from all of you. I really made me feel like I’m not alone on this impossible search. So I wanted to update you on my search. I finally found a strapless bathing suit that works for a large bust! Most surprisingly it does not have underwire or push up. It’s actually a convertible top with straps that can be tied in many ways including around your diaphragm to create a bandeau look. The straps are thick and tying them around really creates extra support. The suit itself is ok in terms of style but at this point I’ll take anything. The also have a few different options for bottoms to go with this top. Wanted to pass it along in case it would work out for any of the other ladies looking for something similar.
(also available at Nordstroms and tons of other smaller stores)

@Meowkers: I find that Bathing suit to be sooooooooooooo cute!! OMG, I want that! Especially if it holds the girls right. Idk if I can be considered big, but I’m a C34, and prolly should wear a D, I’m only 5′ though so I’m really shy about my girls (I won’t wear bathing suit cause of boob fat :P) I will def try that on next time I go to Nordstrom’s.

I’m a 36D/DD and have been having the same problem. I bought a size Large top from VS and it was WAY too small (they didn’t have anything bigger in the bandeau I wanted).
I just found this Candies suit at Kohls and it fits PERFECTLY. They have the mix/match tops and bottoms so I could find exactly my size.
I love the suit you posted – if I hadn’t just found one, I would have been all over that!

I went to Target a few weeks ago and got two new strapless bikinis (my boobs are 34D). One is actually quite supportive, and the other is less so but still okay for walking around. They also came with removable straps, so if I went swimming or something I could put those on. Target had a ton of options, ended up being $35-40 each.
The one you posted is adorable!

I like it, but it’s cold and icky out now–hard to imagine summer just yet.

Awesome!! I hate bathing suit shopping – 34DD and nothing CUTE ever holds the ‘assets’ up right! I am def. looking at this, thanks!!

It’s really cute & I’m glad you found something that fits you.
Small rant: I wish bra ads would include some women who are larger than size 2 or 4.
