Yayy ottawa!  They’re quite a handful, huh?  Haha it’ll get better.  It took our terriers awhile to stop wanting to destroy everything, but they’re such good little dogs!  They’ll never stop getting in trouble, but it’s much more manageable now!  Keep up the good work, it’ll pay off!

He is so sweet.  It takes a while. We have a silky terrier, Toby who was an absolute hell raiser when we adopted him.  He has calmed down considerably (but you can’t leave any paper products out..he loves ripping paper!)

A welsh!  My parents have a welsh.  She’s amazing but boy oh boy is she stubborn!  TONS of energy when she was younger.

Good luck!

Quick story – Right after 9/11 happened, my parents had a vacation planned to Italy for 3 weeks.  So they asked me if I could watch Molly who was not a year old and since I’m a huge dog lover, my housemate and I thought it would be fun.All I can say is (lol) when they came to pick her up, I had felt like I been through the ringer and back with Molly.

Even my Dad tells a story of how they thought perhaps they made the wrong decision of getting a Welsh because they just couldn’t keep up with her but once puppyhood wore off, she calmed down a bit.

You’re going to do fine.  Just stick with it because how you can resist that face!!??
