Update to original post here http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/did-any-bee-learn-to-love-their-set-after-the-wedding
So 3 weeks before the wedding we are stressing, bickering some and that dang matching ring I never wanted was eating at me. So after a long talk my Fiance asked to take me to a local jewelry store just in case we could find something I liked better. After trying on 20+ freaking micropave bands that all looked alike and a few commong bands, the sales consultant pulled out a band that she did not think would work until I put it on my finger – and I looked at my Fiance face and he just had the expression of happiness on his face. We had found the ring that looked like me 🙂
And it was a discontinued ring so half price (within a couple of hundred dollars of my original band AND it was my size. So the matching band is returnable for a full refund and now I so not want a band on either side because I love the look of this so much!!!
Sapphire and Diamond eternity channel set band in platinum – LOVE IT!
I think it really brings out the Art Deco feel of my ring!

It totally took me some time to get used to mine…but I love it now. I like yours!

I’m happy for you that you got it all sorted out in time for the wedding! : )
It’s strange though, when I look at the rings in the box, they don’t seem like they would look good together, which is probably why the sales person didn’t bring it out to start with. But on your hand, OMG it looks amazing!!! The set looks so unique and art deco and absolutely beautiful, congratulations : )

@Mrs.danish: Thanks – I love how it feels like I am wearing two antique rings together, not a set. My Fiance did not want me to take it off – told him soon 🙂

Gorgeous, it’s perfect! I saw the photo first and thought to myself… how does she not love this?! I’m so glad you found the perfect one, sounds meant to be.
And how did I not know that you had an emerald or is it a radiant? Gorgeous!! I have a radiant and I think it’s so hard to find a matching band.

@Mrs.Firefly1: Thank you!!! It is an emerald cut – I love my center stone and like how the new band seems to highlight it 🙂
