I wasn’t a fan of the Sephora trial because I didn’t think there was enough definition to your eyes.

I think your foundation shade is better here, but I think the lips are still too dark, and you need heavier liner on your top lid.

I would invest in a trial with a MUA who specializes in wedding makeup. I think your attempts (and the attempts of the Sephora employee) are falling way short of how good you could look.

@Miss Leopard:  hmmm I must agree with this

the lips are too dark

I also think you would look good with some contour and highlighting.. The foundation looks perfect though!!

ETA: I can barely tell you have on eyeshadow. I would try the Naked palette with the Urban Decay eyeshadow primer (or Too Faced) AND a good base (like a MAC paintpot or the Maybelline ones if u want a cheaper alternative). I would then use a lid color, crease color, highlight color, and something a bit darker on the edged and then blend them all.

I think you look great 🙂 Definitely +1 to darker upper lid liner, and a slightly (really, just slightly!) lighter lip stain.

My only other suggestion: Did you use an eyeshadow primer on your lids before applying eyeshadow? I see some creasing there, and a primer might help with that. Or, applying plain power (rice powder, etc) to your eyelids first. Might make a difference! 🙂

I would recommend maybe accentuating your eye more. You don’t have to do it darker, but maybe try white eyeliner on ur lower eyelash line (it will make your eyes look bigger) or a shade of purple which will pop ur eyes. I’m not sure how I feel about the lipstick although I’m not sure why. I’m ok with darker lipstick if that’s what you like, but maybe that isn’t the right shade?

@JenGirl:  The foundation is DEFINITELY better this time! Also, your blush/bronzer is great; you’re glowing! Did you use an eyeshadow primer (like Urban Decay?)  I see some creasing, so make sure you use an eyeshadow primer.  You won’t need a ton, but make sure you put it over your whole lid.  I agree that you need a thicker line of eyeliner on top, it will make your lashes look thicker and fuller!

This looks like an everyday face, to be honest. I would play around with the placement of your blush brush strokes, and I think you’d benefit from some basic contouring. Do you have a MAC nearby?

@JenGirl:  this looks good for an everyday face.

A few things: lighten your lips up

Darken and smoke the eyes out more

watch some YouTube tutorials on highlighting and contouring

@JenGirl:  sorry I meant purple eyeliner, not eyeshadow! Yes black eyeliner in the under eye is more popular but the white makes your eyes pop! It’s one of my “secret” tricks for weddings and photoshoots (I’m a makeup artist 😉 Remember that you want to apply your makeup heavier for your wedding than you would on a normal day for the wedding pix. Slightly heavier makeup will show as “normal” in pix. And it could def b the lighting in that pix! Maybe take another one and add it for us to compare?
