Wow, I love the design! Try taking some pics in natural light so we can see the blue color of the stone better! :)
I'll have to try that. I'm horrible at taking pictures and these were the only ones that weren't completely blurry, lol.
I love it!!! Beautiful. I am a sucker for gemstone rings. My hubby upgraded my ering to diamond and it is still sitting in the box :P I can't part with my sapphire!!
As you suggested, I tried taking some photos in natural light to capture the aquamarines blue tones. Mine specifically is pale and clear, something I really love about it. It's so sparkly. :)
Once again, forgive me for my bad photo taking skills. My hand is all too shaky with the camera, making them blurry. :( I also accidentally kept the flash on in one of them, but you can still notice the blueness of the stone.
Here is a picture of the ring from the website. The effects were done with my iPad.

As I stated in my very first post last night, my DH decided to update my very modest original e-ring (bridal set) after wearing it since early 2009. Though diamonds were an option this time around, and after almost settling on a diamond "past, present, future" ring, I still couldn't get myself to truly want a diamond, a decision I am so happy about. Instead I chose a gorgeous aquamarine ring surrounded by white and black diamond accents set in 14k white gold. If feels so "me", and I love that. I love what aquamarines symbolize too: Youth, hope, health and fidelity.
According to the American Gem Trade Association, "Aquamarine was long thought to have a soothing influence on married couples, making it a good anniversary gift.
Most importantly, I love and adore the man who gave me such a beautiful gift. We are looking forward to celebrating our two year wedding anniversary come April.
And as I promised, pictures! (Please forgive my lack of photography knowledge!)
