I have had the same problem and have kind of resolved to putting the veil at the nape of my neck. Oh well...
Same here. I like the veil higher, but with the curly updo I want, the veil will have to go toward the base of my head.
I am not really sure what you're looking for
but have you tried plugging it into the Google Images page? I found the below picture there but the veil might still be too low.....There are a ton of images....Good Luck!!!!

I had an updo and we put my veil at like eye level, but on the abck of my head. A little higher. My hairstylist put like a bump from teh ponytail under the curls there and we stuck it there (I didnt do a trial with the veil, so we kinda just winged it. I wasnt that concerned.) Let me find a photo
I've been looking for the exact same thing!
How high did you want to wear your updo?
I just found some great pictures of updos by just doing a google search after I exhausted the galleries on theknot, brides, and project wedding! I'm going for a more elegant style of updo and I'll have my dupatta (heavily embroidered Indian veil) pinned over the updo.

@jackie-o - I tried a bit there a well, but thought a wedding site would be better. I like the photo you found a lot - thank you!
@KellyV - sounds promising, looking forward to seeing it!
@BriarRose - those are gorgeous photos! I think the key is a lower updo, like in the first couple of photos you posted. It just seems like most of the photos don't have veils in them, so it is hard to imagine what it would look like with a veil.
and a few more. I dont have any direct shots but you get the idea

@KellyV - Yes please!! I love this style :)
Here are a few for updos for curly hair. I have natural curly hair but am trying to grow it longer for the wedding. I had an updo as a bm in my friends wedding and it wasnt curly and it was actually really cute(Im next to bride)

So your going a different avenue to me. I need the high, sturdy updo to hold all the weight from my veil! Its definitely easier to find a suitable hairstyle when the veil only consists fabric and/or lace.
Good luck with finding the right hairstyle!

I've been looking for updo inspiration photos with veils, but can't find any I like. I don't like the idea of putting the veil very low on the head. Has anyone come across any good inspiration photos or have an idea of websites I can look at? I've looked on The Knot and Project Wedding already.
Thank you!
