Hmmm... Don't have any pro pics with me and I'm not sure how much help mine will be. I just did a simple ponytail (with cottonballs for a little volume) but it suited me well.
ETA: And I totally empathize with suddenly wanting to hack in bangs. I went through the same phase.

I bought my fascinator from LoBoheme on Etsy, so I plan to show those pictures to my hairstylist. I used to have bangs, and centemplated getting them again for the wedding. However, as my stylist said, they might get annoying during the course of the day or get greasy looking.

Have you tried searching for bridal updos on Google? If you look at the images that come up, you'll find a large amount without sideswept bangs.....
This is the hair style that I am probably going to go with. I haven't had a hair trial yet, so I don't know what it will look like on me, but I am pretty sure it will work.

But my predicament is that the wedding is in Nashville, TN at 2pm in August. Yes, it's inside. BUT we have a 2hr break (catholic gap) that we're using for pictures outside. So Tennessee, outside, 3-5pm. It's sure to be a steamer!

Don't you think it's weird how most updos just have pictures from the back? Like who just takes pictures from behind?
@sgarrison2: I totally agree!! In fact, I've discovered that it's actually hard to show anyone my updo b/c all pictures of me are from the front or side! Here is one from far away with my Bmaids (we all had updo's)

I wish my hair was long enough (still) to wear it like this! I just had it cut to about an inch under my ears last summer.. scolded the FI why he couldn't have told me he was gonne propose this past January BEFORE I had it cut off last summer so I would have had my long hair still for the wedding heh. It has grown to just over shoulderlenght by now so I can at least have an up-do but am still sad tis so 'short' hehe! I don't have bangs either nor do I like any (though it looks super nice on those who do!) and have yet to decide how to get my hair done (and the wedding is in like 56 days! :P)!

I was about to post pictures but just remembered that my stylist added long bangs to me about a week before my wedding.
I had an half up half down hairdo. 
I don't have bangs but my stylist was able to achieve the sideswept look with my long hair anyway, for my trial. I'm sorry that I don't have photos. If it's the sideswept look you don't lke, then this won't be helpful, but if it's just that you think you can achieve that kind of look without bangs -- you can!
DON'T DO IT!!! I did this and regretted it. My stylist had to use a million bobby pins to keep the side swept bangs in place for the night and they never looked as good on me as they did in pictures of other people. So I would heed the advice of your stylist -- the professionals know best -- especially if you haven't had that kind of bang previously nor had much experience with them.

I know what you mean sgarrison; I've been scouring boards, online galleries, google images, for the past few months trying to find elegant half-up dos with no bangs and it's impressive how little there is out there.

Don't worry friends- when I do figure out my hairstyle I'll blast it all over the internet. So girls without bangs don't have to spend so much time searching!
I cut in sideswept bangs a month out from the wedding.. and I thought it was fine! Just an opinion- not sure why he said you couldn't do that! :)

@kkkatieB12 and ninjadarling - I think I'll try it at my first hair trial! I like it because it's different and it'll keep my hair out of my face. Here's the same style at a different angle.

Hello Bee world! to S Garrison, First and foremost be yourself! From a stylist's point of view, Keep close to the style you wear typically but of course with elegance and romance. Definitely do not cut bangs 50 days before your wedding! Going completely up , especially in hot weather is my recommendation. Your hair will stick to your neck from sweating, which will cause the spray to disintegrate and your curls will fall.

Bees- I need your help! There's such little inspiration for those of use who don't have sideswept bangs, or light chin length wisps. My hair is pretty much one length, long layers, and I'm stressed about finding an updo. My stylist said getting side bangs before the wedding was a no-go (50 days). He's probaby right! Please post a picture if you had an updo or half-up hair and don't have bangs!
