@anotheroneofmany: I don't have much help to add, but I was JUST told this last week as well. My hair's about 2 inches past BSL, and I've still got 6 months to go, so probably another 2 inches or even 3 by the big day. I'd just see with your hair dresser (the one that will be styling your hair, not your everyday person unless that's who you'll be using) what they think.
I was just in my girlfriend's wedding and the gal did my hair fabulously and with no problem. And also with no back-combing (my request). So I know it can be done, you just have to find a great sylist who's familiar with working with very long hair.
My hair is about an inch above my pants right now... so maybe around my belly button? lol. I've had it up for homecoming and prom in high school and I know that there are styles I can't do, but my hairdresser always did a nice job and I loved it every time. If you have a good hairdresser they can do a lot with it.
ETA: Nope, longer than the belly button. You get the idea lol

Hi! I have really long hair (halfway between my bra line and my jeans--prolly mid-back or natural waist length?)... My hair stylist was saying that sometimes really long hair doesn't work well for updos? I want my hair all up (mom's request!), so am I out of luck? I've been growing it out for the wedding; it seems weird that I'd have to cut it for the wedding instead? Does anyone have any inspiration pics that I can see and show my stylist? Thanks so much!!!
