Well, I did my hair down to accomodate my veil for the ceremony, then put it up with a flower/without the veil for the reception.

Hahah, nooooooo! I had a hair person come out and do it for me- since the ceremony was only a half hour, she had no problem sticking around.
I had my veil on for the ceremony then took it off for the reception

(Sorry, still waiting for pro pics. I seem to only have silly pictures of me with my veil off)
@Brideonabudgetlauren: Your silly pics are adorable! Did you remove the veil and add the flower? Did your hair get messed up at all when you removed the veil?
@Birdee106: Your hair looks awesome - did it stay in all day?
@stargurl101: I'm considering a style like yours, though my hair is straight and doesn't curl well. Did you have trouble getting the veil in and out?
@BrideEleven: Yeah, for the most part. I came a little loose at the end of night but at that point I really didn't care.
@ddavila2001: wow, stunning!
@stargurl101: I get dress regret ever time I see your dress. Beautiful hair too!
@BrideEleven: Actually the veil velcrowed to the flower, so I just took it off that way. Even if I had to take the whole thing off and put it back in I don't think my hair would have gotten messed up. My girl that did my hair used like 67 bobby pins lol
BrideEleven: my hair curls well but it was short for my wedding! it was just curled with the front pinned back and the bottom pinned up. It wasn't hard to get my veil in and out. hair spray - lotts of hair spray.
raisedonrobbery: thanks so much!

I'm getting married in April in Florida, so I am planning to wear my hair up. I'd like to wear my veil for most of the evening but don't want my hair to look dumb when I remove the veil.
Do any recent brides have pics of their hair with and without a veil?
Any other bees planning to do the same? Inspiration pics are welcome!
