I am looking to hire someone for uplighting for my hotel venue and was looking for suggestions on vendors.

There are a few in the area.  Most popular are Frost, John Farr, Atmosphere and Davinci Flowers.  Good luck!

@Selina61:  Do you know of an uplighting vendor in the NYC area?  I've been having trouble finding one.  Thanks!

hmm, there is a vendor called "nice uplights" but they are more expensive. They are really good though. As a newer uplighting vendor, I dream about the lights they own. They own uplights called Core uplighters, which are made in the u.k. They are one of the few companies in the country to have them. They are more expensive obviously. They rent for $70/light. If you have the money to spend, they are really worth it, they lights are suuuuper bright, so you dont need alot, and they make over 16.7 million variations of color. they are wireless and they are very sleek and small with decorative silver casings. Look them up. I can check around for more affordable ones for you though. Ill also get the website for nice uplights

But as nice as the lights are, if you are working on a tighter budget, then those lights, though nice, arent worth breaking your financial limits. Give me about an hour or so, and I can have mre info for you.

@Selina61:  Thanks so much for the info!  I'm looking to spend less, but at $70 a light it could be worth it if I will only need 10 lights or something like that.  I'll look them up!
