Uplighting thoughts?

I think amber lighting would be nice with that color scheme. It would add ambiance while complementing the color scheme. You could also just do a warm “normal” color light, too – would add drama without adding color. I think a deeper blue would also look lovely. Have you talked to a lighting vendor at all about what the color options might be? The goal with the lighting is to add color and depth, not to be matchy-matchy!

@lizzypoo96:  I second the amber opinion I think that would look lovely! Sometimes they will change the lights for you so you could always have them change to navy to signal the dance time for a darker more party look

It depends on what type of “look” you want for the reception.  For a romantic, soft look, we would recommend ivory uplighting.  If you would like a more dramatic look, go with blue uplighting.
