I’m sorry! I WOULD cry if I were you.

Take it back, and hopefully they allow you to get another one. Better you found out now, than be at your wedding and look down and see stones popping out of your ring!

Don’t fret.  If it’s under warranty, they HAVE to fix it.

Hmm.. my new setting is 100% pave diamonds and I haven’t had any issues after over 4 months of wearing it. I can see why it would be more prone to loose diamonds than other settings, but it shouldn’t fall out so easily!

Can I ask where you bought it from? I want to avoid a place whose craftsmanship is so bad that diamonds pop out before it’s even worn full time!

Like moderndaisy, both of my rings are loaded with pave diamonds.  I’ve had my e-ring for almost three years and my wedding ring for just over one year without any problems and I wear both everyday.  Is it possible to take it to another shop?

So sorry!!! I would return it, make them give me a new one and then check for loose stones.

That’s horrible! Please do tell where you got these rings from so we don’t give them any business!

I also have pave loaded e-ring and wedding bands. I’ve worn my e-ring for the past 15 months and haven’t had any problems. I haven’t worn my wedding band much, other than a couple sneaks here and there, but it’s been fine so far.

Hope they can come up with something! A friend of mine used to work at a jewelers, she said diamonds fell out in the shaker from time to time. It shouldn’t be unusual for them to fix it.

Did you have it sized?  Sizing greatly effects the stability/tension of pave and will cause stones to pop out really easily.  This is why my set has no pave… I LOVE the look, but I had 2 different jewelers tell me that losing stones in pave isn’t just a possibility, it’s a certainty.

I’m happy that they’re able to fix it for you.  Hopefully they can fix it the right way and this won’t happen again.

Sorry you had to go through that frustration!
