@crebre- Hey, owning a pair of Manolos is a pretty good goal. These are my third ones, and so far my favorite. I got my first pair 6 years ago, and they still look fantastic (Black suede pointy heels.... of course). I've had then resoled twice. :p If you take care of them, they last a long, long time. I still remember the day I [read:my mother's credit card] bought those. They were on sale from $995 to $500. That was a fantabulous deal. Keep your eyes out for those. :)

sigh 500 huh... perhaps but i think i'd buy something sparkly for myself first lol!!! maybe they are what i should purchase for myself when my son graduates high school and heads off to college! (that's one heck of an expense GONE!)

Very cute ... I own them in the red patent, favourite statement shoe ever (they were a gift from my mom for getting my degree)
I bought them at the Neiman Marcus in Atlanta. You can also get them online. If you order them online, keep this in mind: I had to get a full size bigger than I usually do just so my arch wouldn't screw up the strap. (And I have pretty bony feet. You can't really tell in the photos).
Wow, I love them! Do they come in any other colors? I already have a pair of black patent mary jane heels. Need an excuse to get some of these!

I saw them in tortoise patent and a nude at NM on saturday. They were both awesome-looking.

I bought my first pair of Manolos from a consignment shop for FSIL's wedding - SO WORTH IT! You get what you pay for... and I think that since they're not everyday purchases, it makes them so much more special.

I agree with "you get what you pay for." Totally. I just wish you didn't have to pay for it... I think designer shoes should rain from the skies a couple times a year... le sigh

This weekend I bought my very own pair. I thought I was going to fall over and die of happiness. These will definitely make an appearance in our Nov. 8 engagement shoot, as well as probably many showers/parties. lol.
