I don't live in Kelowna but was there on the weekend and got my hair cut at Bogey and Bacall. Everyone seemed happy with their stylist.(in case you don't get any response)

I'm happy for you. It's hard to have last minute cancellations, but it will be easier to have a stylist recommended by another bee.
Thank goodness that worked out for you. If for whatever reason something happens and she can't do it check out www.tietheknothairdesign.com. They are also amazing, and they travel all over. The prices are pretty great and they do more the just weddings too. So if you need hair done for family photos or other any other event they can travel out you and do your hair. something to think about. :)

My hairstylist for my June 12 wedding had a family emergency and can no longer do the job! Is anyone here from the area and know someone/are a hairstylist themselves? This is a destination wedding for me and aside from calling salons one after another on Monday I can't have a trial so recommendations mean a lot!
Here's what I need:
I will have extensions that will need to be cut and put in before styling. My original stylist has already made the extensions and will be leaving them with the hotel I'm staying at, but they haven't been cut for length yet. They are clip-in extensions.
June 12 @ 2:00 pm - wedding hairstyle (down w/ loose curl)
June 13 @ 7:30 am - day-after hairstyle for photo shoot (same style)
The times I listed are when the stylist would need to be there to do the work.
Bees, I hope you can help, I'm trying to keep it together but I'm really nervous I won't be able to find someone on such short notice! Please help!
