They are very different styles so you really need to choose. That and we only have a picture of you in one dress. But for my style, I prefer the first one.
I love the princess dress on you. You look great in it. I would especially go with it if you have always wanted a princess dress. I would hate for you to always regret not having your girlhood dream dress. What theme are you going with? I see that dress and think magical.
I prefer dress #1. The bodice ends at a "normal" place and the fru fru stuff starts mid thigh giving you a true mermaid look. In dress #2 the bodice stops mid hip. That looks weird to me.
@lefeymw: yea they wouldnt let me take pics in the first one because we hadnt paid for it yet....the first one is beautiful...and i already ordered a beautiful rhinestone sash from etsy for it....this sucks...because they are so differnt!
the first one is so freakin dramatic it's crazy. You're going to look fabulous in either tho, great choices , and they are going to show off your beautiful shape. it's such a hard call, I picked number one but .. I'm not sure if everyone will be looking at YOU in a dress or just the dress. good luck
@2ndtime: my theme is springtime elegance....
lol thats the same thing my mom said about the dress...its dropped waist ball gown....i love that
@HisIrishPrincess: thats what scares me about that dress...its so fab they wont notice me they will be too busy looking at my dress!!!
Those are some bold earrings you've got! Based solely on your accessories you look like more of a fashion-forward girl rather than the classic princessy type. Both dresses are really beautiful though.
@JerseyGirlLaur: those are my diva earrings!! i would have def wore some smaller jewler if i would have known that i was trying on wedding dresses that day....i went there to look for BM dresses!!
Dress #2 looks so much like my dress (see here)! So, I'm biased but I say go with that one. The dropped waist doesn't look as emphasized once you add a crinoline underneath.
I'm also not a fan of trumpet style dresses like #1.
Which one did you feel the best in?
@Ms.Aum:i love your dress....LOOVVEEE it. i really want the dropped waiste to pop....thats what i love about the dress.
i honestly feel amazing in both...that is what is so hard about this choice.... :( but thanks for the dress help bees
it means so much!!
Will your wedding be daytime or evening? The first dress looks very evening, ballroom or swanky nightclub to me. The second I think could work anywhere anytime because it is very classic princess.
@secondchances: evening....my reception wont be over til almost 1 am.... i think im going to go with dress # 1 only because i want to wear my hair like this and i think it woudl look better with the elegant trumpet...maybe???
thanks ladies!! after lots of crying, sleepless nights and trying both dresses on more times then i can count i decided to go with the essence of bonny trumpet dress (#1).
thank you for all your help i appreciate it soooo much!
Dress 1 is my vote... I like #2 but I think you should go with your first choice
#1 is great! i think while you look great in #2, the skirt overwhelms your frame a bit. #1 will show off your shape so wonderfully!
Which one did you decide on princesspretti24?
I love them BOTH!
I went with the first one!!! only because i found an amazing sash to go with it.....an di have NEVER seen that dress on any other bride!....
im having the hardest time finding a veil though!
@MrsStrawberry24: How did you choose? I am going thru a similar dilemma and I was just wondering how you made your decision. Maybe I am overlooking something that will help me choose.

So... im having a dress break down!!
My first dress shopping experience i had most of my bm's, my god mom, my mom, FMIL and best friend. First store i went to i fell in love with dress #1 as did everyone else. my mom and i only put down 30% to hold it because even though i loved it, i felt like to early to get a dress, and i had my heart set on getting a ball gown (it was 1 year to my wedding day).
Fast forward to a few weeks ago. My best friend takes me to a lil dress shop his friend owns to go look for bridesmaids dresses. i meet the guy and we some how start talking about my dress. Next thing i know im in a dressing room trying on new dresses!! the first dress i put on is dress #2...and i love it. I feel like....a princess...it was perfect
I call my mom who was out of town and tell her about the dress. it was a $100 cheaper then the first one and just breath taking...but so was dress #1. Although money is in no way an issue, i would love to lighten the load on my mom even if its only a little... I mean i looked so good in the dress the owner had me go outside to try and get more customers in the store.
So now im in love with 2 dresses....so please help me ladies!!! which one should i go with...and how did i end up is this situation!!!
