Yeah, I’ve read a few stories about USPS losing letters for 50+ years, only to finally be delivered later.  We really are efficient here considering the amount of mail we have (it’s decreasing though); it’s just, I think some ladies on this board think the USPS should cater to them…people’s lives aren’t going to end if they don’t have a certain stamp and very few people even notice.  Opening mail is a federal offense here and is unacceptable.  USPS workers have it hard, people go in there speaking various languages (spanish is big in certain areas) and the workers deal with barriers of that sort and deal with people getting snickety towards them.  A lot of people should avoid going to the post office during peak hours (around lunch and when they get off work).  I do have to say though I’ve only ran into only one really mean post office person and I’ve been to a lot of them..in fact, my home town’s post office has processed the most mail of any USPS post office.
